Clitheroe is a historic Lancashire market town in the delightful Ribble Valley. The Old Post House Hotel was used as a post office up until 1928, since then it has been Clitheroe's most prestigious and distinctive hotel. Our nearest airport is at Blackpool just some 27 miles away. Whether you enjoy the occasional cycle ride or you are a serious enthusiast, we can offer excellent facilities including cycle hire, packed lunches, secure bicycle storage, maps and free cycle routes for the Ribble Valley. There are also many countryside walks either long or short to suit all ages and abilities, all incorporating beautiful scenery. Our restaurant serves traditional homemade food and an excellent Lancashire breakfast. We offer a bed and breakfast package at a very reasonable price, making us the perfect base for your visit to the Ribble Valley. We have 11 rooms to offer including an executive suite, all with en-suite facilities and free WiFi internet access. There is ramp access at the rear of the hotel, where our private car park is available for residents and diners alike. The hotel is in the centre of Clitheroe and just seconds away from the bus and train interchange, also within a five minute walk is Clitheroe castle and the museum.
