Roomservice was a disaster!!! Too expencive for a piece of salat with 5 pieces chicken (farm raised chicken!!) Generally, it was not same services like on the Internet!! The fitness&swimmingpool was not included in the price, but there wasnt any notice about this arangement!! It was too far to the center, so spend a lot for the taxis.. The cleanlady was very hard to coming inside!! We musted tell her in 1 our 4x times, we want sleep!! She maybe comes afternoon!! We had no phonecalls, but it was on our pricelist:-) We paid for the expencise and very bad food from the roomservices at last for all 700 Eu and had trouble for the 0,70 EU phonecall, we dont have!! So, never the Okura Hotel Amsterdam!! M.Nuwar We are very dissapointed!!

I am a business traveler and requested a room with Internet access. I was assured that all rooms had that. Three rooms later, I was able to access the internet. I was told that the first 2 rooms had wireless access, but it was not working. The third had an actual Ethernet connection which worked. Wireless also worked from that room.

We arrived at the hotel and were told they were overbooked. Which I think is dishonest since they probably preferred to have high paying customers take our rooms instead of us who booked it at discount price. We were sent to the NH Hotel and had to hustle a bit for them to include breakfast to apologize for the overbooking. NH amsterdam was fine and closer to the city center than okura. Breakfast is a bit pricey 24 euros/person. I wouldn't recommend Okura since they can't even manage their own hotel.

The view from my room was amazing! The room service was out of this world. I would definitely recommend the Okura Hotel Amsterdam for anyone travelling alone. It's easy to get to from Central Station and the area feels safe at night. A really short walk from the tram stop.
