Rack rate was half of the conference hotels, and an easy 1 block walk to conference. Staff was quite friendly and helpful. No pool, and on site dining limited to IHOP, but within easy walking distance of great restaurants. Offered beach towels, and use of Outrigger and other Ohana pools. Hotel is older, but in pretty good shape. I use a wheelchair, and accessibility was good, but shower seat needed minor repair.

Neat, tidy, satisfactory. Only three blocks from Waikiki beach, good view of the hills as well. Would recommend booking rooms on the higher levels of the hotel as the streets can be noisy at all hours of the night. Good Value for money. Location close to good shopping as well.

The hotel was clean, but appeared very old. Sheets were stained. Also had to pay $58 additional for third person and they had to sleep on very uncomfortable pull out sofa. The suite that was to hold more than 2 people had only one be and the couch. The room for two peolpe had two double beds. Would never stay there again.

Every staff member was VERY nice and very helpful! We upgraded to a suite because of the size of our party. Got a kitchenette, daily paper, and daily coffee. The fridge helped with night meal leftovers! No on-site pool: The ocean is so close. Even so, you can use pools at nearby Ohana hotels, so it was great. They even give you towels to use for the ocean/pool. The parking lot is a real challenge to get in and out of. */day seems about okay. One warning: the IHOP restaurant associated with the hotel was overpriced and had terrible food.

This hotel needs to update the bathrooms and put a patio chair on the lanai. Elevators are very slow also.

The hotel staff was friendly, but that's where the charm stopped. The hotel rooms smelled musty and needed an update badly. Location is great for shopping, but the main beach is about a 10 minute walk. If you have a car, parking is very pricy and the garage is treacherous (steep grades, small spaces, and extremely tight turns).

Best hotel for an affordable price

The location for price was good, with an excellent staff on duty at all times. The room fixtures need updating and upgrading along with the mattress and carpet. The cleaning personnel did an excellent job each day considering the facilities. I would consider this a 2star at best, considering physical facilities.

The hotel is in the heart of Waikiki, walking distance to the beach, can take a bus or trolley to go around anywhere in Honolulu, reasonably priced, clean and well maintained. Expensive and inexpensive restaurants, and few fastfood restaurants nearby. Access to parking lot is no easy- you need to be an expert driver to navigate through the narrow accessway.

It was an older hotel and the elevator service was not particularly good. Had to wait a long time for the elevators. The area in Waikiki had a lot of one way streets which made getting to the parking garage difficult. Also, getting to the parking garage from the room or lobby made you go from one elevator to another elevator.

The hotels location was great! Right in the middle of everything for a great price. It would have been nice to know that Ohana lets all its guests use other Ohana hotels pools and facilities. We found out on the last day.

I am an Oahu resident. We look for swimming pools when we stay in a hotel. The rate you gave me was more than the kamaaina rate. You should have put me in something better and with a swimming pool. We overlooked a very bad neighbor's rooftop. Not knowing what you are getting is a bad policy. I'll never do that again. Too scary.

Fairly expensive for what you would get other places in the country but I guess that is Hawaii for you. Very uncomfortable beds but the room was clean and the staff was friendly.
