I've stayed in many hotels and even with the remolding taking place this hotel was still clean and functional. The room was large, clean-clean, and mordern. You could not be in a better location. There are resturants, shops, boutiques, fast food chains, a grocery store with souveniers, and a deli, international market with food vendors and shopping right behind the hotel, and a major department store below the hotel. Across the street was The Cheese Cake Factory my favorite. A block passed the CCF was the beach in a safe and comfortable walking distance. Along side the hotel was a flea market. Nearby were nice upscale stores such as Coach, BeBe to name a few. Everything you could want was in walking distance not more than a block or two. This could not be a better location for convenience. The price was about average and competitive for the area.

Right from the start the staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in is at 3pm and we arrived around one, the bell hop kept our bags safe the desk made a call to have our room cleaned so we could check in. Once we checked in out bags were brought up to our room for us. The room was very clean to me looked brand new and for every day of our saty our room was cleaned and we were given fresh towels. The staff had an answer for all our questions wheather it be about the buses or if they new of a certain bar in the area. I would recomend everyone going to hawaii to stay here. why waste your money on a beach front property when you can save your money and walk there in less than a minute. Great Hotel

This hotel has a great location, very near to dining, shopping, and the beach. The rooms are good size but the floors were extremely dirty. Great value for the price, but not the nicest hotel in the area.

This hotel sits in the center of the main strip of Waikiki where all the action is at. Downstairs you will find fine dining and easy shopping centers for all. It was a great place to stay at.

I actually had two reservations at the Beachcomber one week apart. The second reservation I got moved to Shana East sister hotel which was a nicer room. The Beachcomber paid my taxi fare to the other hotel as I was not notified in time. I found both places to be very friendly and helpful and decent places to stay.

Right on the main drag among several other high rise hotels. A car is optional. Tastes run to older clientele.

Hotel was in the center of town, within short walking distance to the beach. Short walking distance to numerous restaurants. Just what we were looking for at a most reasonable price. The desk clerk Shawn bent over backward to make our stay pleasant.

Great location in the heart of Waikiki. Very large rooms by Waikiki standards. I really missed FOX NEWS CHANNEL.

The hotel was pretty nice. We got two rooms and they were 12 floors apart, but on Saturday night they were both really noisy, which probably goes with being in Waikiki. Sunday night was much quieter. The rooms were well maintained and the cleaning staff was great. The beach was a block away and amazing.

The hotel is an urban hotel in a tropical setting. It is a mid-tier hotel and is well maintained.

The room was very small. Ironing board, but no iron. You had to sign it out for a limited amount of time per day. No music in lobby like most hotels, to give you that hawaiian ambiance. The staff weren't very informative when we checked in. Just gave us the room key and that was it. A little friendliness like: The ice machine is on the 2nd floor, the pool is open til 7:00, and the elevators are to your right, your on floor 15, etc. All would have been appreciated. But you get what you pay for and all in all, it's not a bad place to stay since your only using the room to sleep. But if you plan on spending a lot of time at the beach, a closer location to the water would have been nicer. Also the morning buffet was way overpriced at $12.95 per person. It was cheaper to eat someplace else.

This hotel was a very good value. If you want to be in Waikiki, and in short walking distance to the beach - it is perfect. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the room and hotel was. The parking fee was reasonable, but the spaces are extremely limited. The parking situation was very frustrating. But, overall my 6-day stay was a very pleasant experience.

Convenient location in Waikiki, but parking isn't that great. Paid a cheap rate for the room so I guess we got what we paid for. Would rather pay a little bit more and stay at the Pagoda Hotel instead.

Great for the price. No coffee maker. If you wanted an iron, you had to call for it and return it within a few hours. Just ironing board in room. View of room overlooked construction site.

The location of this hotel is very convenient, but the room is disappointing. No fridge, no coffee maker, not enough towels and glasses.
