We had 3 separate reservations and After our reservations were FINALLY found, we were given 2 unsatisfactory rooms. The first room was right over the parking garage which wasn't what we would call an oceanview room. The second was offered which had an extremely bad smell of cigarette smoke. The third, which we finally were convinced that was the best out of the three, was on the third floor and overlooking the pool area and had an oceanview. We reserved them with the intentions of having adjoining rooms, but to no avail. One of our parties were on the 8th floor and the other 2 were on the 3rd floor but at different parts of the hotel. We all will not be using this hotel again at any time in the future. Our toilet was backed up when we arrived and it had to be fixed two times, which made us have to use other restrooms. One of the rooms had a water leak in the ceiling and the third was very close to the street which when we made the reservations, paid extra for that not to happen. The air conditioners were very noisy and kept us awake most of the night. There was no other way to ventilate the room other than using it. We are ALL unsatisfied with the service and the experience we had. I am quite sure that we could have found other hotels that were less expensive and offered more to their customers.

Location. Hotel is too old. The hotel is too old. Need paint and better AC Unit. The television didn't work. Bed sheets and pillows needed to be replace. Breakfast was a joke. Only one type of sweet pastry and coffe, what kind of continental breakfast is that! Very disappointed. Hotel rating 1 star or less.

My husband and I wanted to getaway to Daytona for a day and relax. We made reservations at the Hilton Daytona Beach Resort, silly me I chose the wrong dates and they had a big cheerleading convention in town. This was a sell out all across the board. We called travel website and they made reservations at the Daytona Beach Oceanside Inn for us. My husband and I like nice hotels so we were a little apprehensive about staying at a hotel we had not researched online or heard of. In driving up the outside appearance made us a little nervous, but once inside the room we relaxed. We were able to get a very nice oceanview efficiency for much less and it was beautiful. The front desk representatives and general manager were the most helpful people I have ever met. We made the reservations on the way to the hotel so it had not reached their database yet. They went to through the "backdoor" of travel website to find out new reservation and quickly put us in a room even though they were booked. They were wonderful! We would definitely return......The only downside is that it is an older hotel so it does need an update in the common areas like the front lobby, hallways (dimmed lighting), and faster elevators....other than that it was clean and comfortable. Thank you for making a visit that was turning out to be a disaster a beautiful time.

great view, good clean hotel , great location, the hotel is a little weatherd but still a great hotel we had a great time just on the beach behind the hotel and just a short distance from good restraunts & entertainment . if you have time and like to fish you should check out sea spirit fishing charters about a 15 min ride from the hotel we took the half day trip and had a blast . in all a great trip .

It was obvious that the hotel was suffering from a financial meltdown. The employees seemed depressed and the hotel property seemed adequate, but it needs a better management team. Would not reccommend or ever stay there again. Thats why we left a day early.

The closeness to the beach. The complimentary breakfast didn't have any food on it by 9am. So there was no breakfast. Did not enjoy the beach for our family in the evening due to crazy drivers on the beach. They do not watch out for small children. But the morning time was wonderful at the beach. Like I said above by 9am there was no continental breakfast left and they did not put anymore food out. I believe it was because the same people own the restaurant that was serving breakfast for a price, no food on the free side they assume you will come on over (right across the hall) and pay for the breakfast you should have received free.

Let me first say we are well traveled & picky. The hotel is a good place to rest. Parking was covered, secure and the front desk staff was nice. Room was clean and larger than expected. The convient store across the street had the lowest price fuel in Daytona. The continental breakfast was more than enough. We were on a nonsmoking floor, but the hallways reeked of smoke. The AC unit was loud, I needed ear plugs to sleep (yes I travel with ear plugs, for such occasions). This is not the Hilton, don't expect that kind of place (if you have stay at one).

The first night there, I found that the air conditioning was too loud to sleep with it on. I asked at the desk the next morning to have someone check it. Night two, same thing, obviously they did not fix the problem if they even checked it. I explained the problem again at check out but did not even receive an apology. I will not return to this hotel!

The view of the ocean was beautiful to wake up to. There were no ice bins or drinks etc. on our floor. I was actually surprised. The hotel was great and had been updated with the exception of the hallways and carpeting on the upper floors. The rooms were great, plenty of room, beautiful view in our room. It was a little way out of the main stream, but because I drove it wasn't a issue. Definitely would recommend or stay at again.

1st off the hotel was over sold, We didn't get the room that I had paid for. The manager wanted to give a parcel refund but was unable to because I booked the room through this site.So guess where that leaves me, overcharged!!! I booked a oceanfront deluxe studio with 2 queen size beds, well I got oceanfront with 1 king and they gave me a roll away, not so good for a Mom with 2 teenagers. House keeping never came, not once. I had to call for towels and the roll away 3 times and I did get them 2 hours later. I had to go down to get more pillows myself. The breakfast they offer is a joke, if you want anything more that Coffee and OJ it will cost you $8 bucks, witch is fine if they tell you that on this site witch they don't. The grounds are fine the pool is clean but a tad salty, I would not stay here again or book through this site. I will use this site to find hotels in the area but book directly.

This was a great place for a family vacation. The location was excellent...right on the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had an oceanside room with a beautiful view. The room had a fridge, microwave, dishes, glasses, silverware, sink...which was VERY nice. Breakfast in the a.m. was served until 10 a.m. Mostly cold stuff, but a good variety and selection. Hot coffee and tea were available all day. The Tiki Bar by the pool served drinks and hamburgers/chicken during the day. This was very convenient for us, since we wanted to spend most of our time by the pool or on the beach. The pool area was very nice. Lots of lounge chairs and the pool temperature was comfortably warm. There was a nice mixture of spring breakers (college students) and families staying at the hotel. The spring breakers were very well behaved and respectful.

This was a great trip, way to short though. The hotel staff was very helpful and polite. The floor and our room had smell of cigarette smoke, and you could see the old nicotine stains on the wall, kinda nasty. But overall the hotel room was clean and so was the pool. Probably wouldn't stay there again, cause it had no balcony's, I knew it didn't have them, but I missed them. Overall I would give the trip from 1 to 10 about and 8. It was very restful and relaxing.

Good location, easy parking, easy access to elivator. Price was good. We have stayed there before and new it would be a decent value for our money. Quiet, no street noise. Not as over priced as most Daytona Beach motels.

following info already sent to you. cont. breakfast included coffee, juice and asmall sweet tart daily / hotel excuse was their vendor was in chg; however just 10 feet away was their breakfast buffet for a fair price of $8.00. something fishy here? also a far as i could see of the other hotels, all had balconies which we have alwasys had in 50 yrs. of beach trips all over the world. definitely a negative. i must say the employees were friendly. this is an older remodeled hotel that was clean for what it was. it is stretchin g it to say there was a kitchenette--appx. 4ft. of cabinets that included a sink, small ref., and a toaster as well as a few dishes.

This motel stay was a pleasure from start to finish. The front desk staff was friendly, knowledgable and helpful. The rooms were spotless. The continental breakfast had multiple choices-doughnuts, cereal, bagels, toast, eggs, yougart, oatmeal and more. Walk right out the door and down to the beach. It was a great weekend. There is no balconies on the rooms but there is a nice grassed rooftop area over the front desk/lobby to sit and enjoy the ocean.

It is not the most romantic hotel the world, but it was a very nice place to stay for the money. No problems with the room. Had a nice view of the ocean and easy access to the pool and beach. Breakfast was OK, no bacon and eggs, but plenty of other things. The hotel is located about a mile south of the pier and main attractions. Great for kids and families. Free parking for hotel guests. Friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again.
