I would not recommend this place to anyone. The Owner/Manager Kors was the rudest, most arrogant, horrible man I have ever spoken to. he continually insulted my elderly father when we questioned a 2 hour stay at the restaurant with no food, no service and a 2 year old that was hungry and tired. We finally ate after about 2 hours and 15 minutes (and 45 minutes past my daughter's bed time, so it was not good). It took 1.5 hours for coffee to even be served. The salads were wilted and produce was rotten. The owner/manager made our stay just horrible which was a shame. The place is run down at best - rusted floors, refrigerators, broken cabinets, and railings with ballasters too far apart along the stairs (my daughter, who is 2 yrs old, almost feel about 10 feet off the top of stairs when she stepped through the ballasters). The air conditioners don't work well, and in 85 degree heat with 90 % humidity, it is not comfortable. The taxis are very expensive for a 3 minute drive into town. And, the $1 bus barely runs by the resort at all (every hour if you are lucky). The restaurant staff is slow, discourteous, not family friendly and just awful. If you want to wait over 2 hours for your food, then eat there. The volley ball court is unusable and the children's play area was broken with nails and screws sticking out all over. I will never go back here and would never recommend it to anyone.

" The Perfect Place to Stay " We ( the chicago 7 all women ) stayed here. The rooms are excellent and clean. The grounds are wonderful and everyone is so helpful. The tennis court is nice and the pools are great. The food was wonderful.

We loved Ocean Reef. From the people to our room everything was just very nice and special. The staff was extremely attentive and warm. We loved Olive and Cindy and Shimron in the Restaurant. Great place to vacation if you love a personalized service in a homey Resort.

Nothing fancy, but we knew that, but right from the beginning, the staff was very helpful and pleasant. Our room was huge, well maintained, had everything. Grounds were lovely-full marina. Small pool but still lovely overlooking the water. No complaints at all. Slow season so not much with activities at hotel, but they still did karaoke, bingo even though only about 6 people participated! Restaurant was not open all the time because of slow season which was not good since we had no food when we arrived; and they actually opened and grilled up some burgers etc. We thought that was really nice of them. Try it and enjoy!

"The two pools were both tiny and freezing cold. When I complained to the owner that it was too cold for my baby to swim, he told me to bring an 11-month old into the hot tub. The one restaurant had awful food. My baby found a random pill (not ours) on the floor of our room while crawling around. The screen door in the room was broken and dangerously off the hinges. The managerial staff was extremely rude. When I told the manager that I was not happy with my stay, he said, ""I'm not happy with you either."" "
