Convenient small counter and bar sink next to mini fridge made sandwich making a breeze. An ocean front room with balcony is definitely worth the extra money. If you like the quiet being on the beach experience, then this is the place for you.

The hotel was right on the beach and the beach was not crowded. The outdoor pool area was nice. The biggest problem was there were no comfortable chairs in the rooms if you wanted to sit and watch the small TV. The mattress was very soft which was ok for sleeping but not sitting up watching TV. The only other problem was the noisy air conditioner unit. That said, we would go back there.

The hotel was ocean front on the beach. With nice room which was clean. I would like to stay there in the future. But I'm sure during the season it would be expensive.

Modern colors (our one room was lime green!) and decor. Lovely beach right outside! Great staff and breakfast! Noisy neighbors, but the manager came and dealt w/ them Some trouble operating the t.v., but the manager came up and helped. Ocean Isle Inn was affordable, beautiful, had newer comfortable mattresses, nice decor and colorful walls. The floors are tiled w/ throw rugs. The room had the feel of a higher-priced resort. It was in a quiet area, with lots to do nearby. They had a great breakfast (complimentary), very helpful staff, and adjoining rooms. There are only four rooms per floor, per unit and you walk outside to go to the elevator, etc. or you can use the open-aired steps. The parking was very close and convenient. It felt like a very safe environment and a perfect destination for someone who enjoys combing the beach or surfing. (Yes, 3 of our kids wore wet suits and surfed on Dec. 26th! It was about 65 degrees out and the water was probably in the 50's.) The kids also enjoyed the pools (heated indoor and outdoor) and especially the hot tub. We would definitely go there again and encourage others to do the same.

It was on the beach. Room was dark and the window AC was noisy. Bedroom was small and dark, the old window AC was noisy at night. The bathroom was in bad shape, the stops were missing in both the bath and sink, and the mirror was rusting at the bottom. The balcony was small with old plastic chairs over looking the parking lot.

Wonderful beachfront location. Wish they had a restaurant or bar. Terrific beachfront hotel, super clean rooms, comfy beds and free wireless internet. Small but pretty pool area, walking distance to restaurants, beautiful beach!

Rooms were comfortable with easy beach access, and a great view. I didn't' care much for the tile floors in the room. Overall this was one of my favorite hotels I've stayed at. Both pools, and the Jacuzzi were clean and pleasant to be in. It was quiet hotel, with easy beach access located very close to the fishing pier. Anyone looking for a good weekend getaway with everything you need close enough not to have to drive once you're there, I would highly recommend this hotel.
