we got the cheapest rooms with no view at all and in front of icemachine. Big contrast with the main building, which is majestic, and has a great terras with some oceanview. Breakfast was very good, but at 25$ not a bargain. I recommend to stay more in the resort than we did, to enjoy the premise. If you mean to visit all of the Cape in 2 days there must be cheaper ways to find a bed.

Excellent lighting throughout the villa; serene decor, comfortable furnishings and bed. Great! Missing small items in the kitchen, like dish soap, salt & pepper, paper towels (or napkins). Spectacular grounds, pristinely kept. Breakfast buffet was rather modest. beds and bedding very comfortable, but foam rubber pillows. Free WIFI a plus. Parking right outside our door. Pleasing atmosphere, decor, floral displays, surpassing expectations. We'll be back.

My family and I met up with our in laws here. It was great for everyone. My father in law and I played golf while my wife and kids hit the beach and pools. We all thought that this was by far the best family resort we have been to in the northeast. If I had to make one complaint, it would be that the restuarants aren't as kid friendly as we're used to. But since its a pretty upscale place we kind of expected it.

We were looking forward to the beach. When we arrived we were told the beach was for only the people staying on the mansion side. I did check to make sure the beach would be included in our stay I was told yes. Then I asked for an early check in I was told yes but that was also not available at that time. I was told to call later to see if we could get in about an hour before check in. Also bedroom was not as clean as it should be. I have pictures of how dirty it was by the bed (very very dirty). Sun. morning I asked housekeeping to just give us new towels and empty trash when we returned 7 hours later still not done and they never came to do that. I have to say the grounds are beautiful but fell short in the areas I mentioned. When I complained they said I booked through a third party and that is why I didn't have these options. I feel if they contract you to book these rooms then every option should be available and additional fees should not be asked of you when you arrive or when you are leaving because you booked through a third party. All in all I don't like to arrive to a hotel and have to ask for things that I have already planned to be part of my package and then have to pay for a add'l services that they tell you, you may not use. When at the beach we could not use the bathroom at the pool for our children because we were not staying on the mansion side. When you have small children that is not aceptable!!!!! I would like a resonse to this email and I can send you the pictures of the dirty bedroom areas!!! I would recommend this hotel to people but with lots of questions for them to ask when they call and get the name of who they speak with so there is no confusion when they arrive. I thought I handled that correctly but when I arrived I was told the opposite from when I called. That is what make this more disapointing. I am use to traveling and staying in very nice hotels but I have never encountered this problem until now.

Spectacular grounds. Most restaurants were closed. Free WIFI, quiet, pristine accommodations, perfect lighting in the loge, easy parking, available trolley, sweet decor. I can't wait to get back!

front desk lacked experience to deal with guests. blamed an online travel website and ""internet"" for deceiving guests when making reservations. room which we waited 3 hrs for was not clean and had to have sheets on beds changed again. we left after only 1 day DISAPPOINTING NOT 4 STAR WORTHY

I specifically searched for an Ocean Front location. Ocean Edge is NOT ocean front and be careful or you will get a room that is a mile and a half from the main hotel. Yes it has a beach but don't count on seeing it from your room. It was clean. Rooms were nice but just not what I hoped for when wanting Ocean Front! Also believe it or not they will charge you $4 a day for parking which in our case wasn't even near the room.

On a golf course or choose cap cod bay side. Unexpected $20/day services charge over room rate. Something for everybody and everybody budget. We bid off season and stayed for half price. Rooms were clean. Kitchenette, pots, pans, utensils, icebox, cable TV in bedroom and living room. Will be back again

Beautiful large resort along the Cape's coast! The hotel rooms were large and well- appointed. They have a great beach, nice tennis courts and pools.

Upon check-in, the reception was fair. It seemed as if it was an effort for the agent to check us in. Not rude, but not friendly. We stayed across the street on the Village side, in the Arbors. Beautifully appointed, terribly noisy. Walls were paper thin, could here the person in the unit above actually moving the hangers in the closet, it sounded as if they were in the same unit we were in. Noise from the bathroom was particuarlly annoying. No room darkening blinds, which was a bit of a problem if you wanted to sleep in, and if you wanted privacy if you are using the pull out couch in the living room (overlooks golf course). Would only stay here again if second floor guaranteed. Orbitz was very good about explaining that the unit would be located across the street from main resort and because of this guests are not entitled to you the Manion pool, beach or tennis, but are allowed to use village services.

Access to bike trail. Complimentary breakfast should be included as well as small in-room refrigerators, body lotion. Noisy party functions were held near rooms. Lovely grounds. However, complimentary good coffee was not readily available in common areas - e.g. lobby or breakfast areas. Body lotion was not automatically provided in rooms. Our room had an obvious wet area on the carpet in front of a sink that never dried up during our two day stay! There must have been a leak of some sort. Noisy, large public functions were held near rooms.

Stayed here on a recommendation from someone who has gone often on business. It is maybe a bit pricey (especially in season) but a lovely place. Truly enjoyed our visit. Staff could not have been nicer.

We were very happy to see that the bitter critics of Ocean's Edge were wrong and may just have anger issues in general. We travel a lot and stay in many hotels. This was the cleanest one ever...We had an amazing experience and will definitely go back there again.

Nice kitchen. The $19.75 resort fee at check out. We were there on a Monday before the high season. When checked in, we were suggested to dine in their two restaurants in our villa side, which were actually both closed. The biggest disappointment came at check out when we were charged $19.75 resort. The staff explained that covers for the use of pool and shuttle services, and even we didn't use either service, we still need to pay. This is a fee that we didn't know when we check in, and I still have trouble finding the fine print on the website. The discussion of this fee pretty much killed our vacation mood.

We'd stayed at Ocean Edge last year in a room on the bay side of the property. This year our purchase on Orbitz put us, unknowingly, into a condo-style villa on their golf course which was ACROSS THE HIGHWAY therefore far from the main hotel and it's amenities, and very far from the main road - 13 speed bumps away!! The villa guests were not even allowed to use the hotel's beach!! Also we were charged an $18 resort fee even though we did not use the pool or fitness center (we have handicapped status). Lastly, we were charged a daily $4 parking fee. Parking fees are understandable at city hotels where parking is limited and optional, i.e. often not used if arriving by air and using taxis and limos. But this hotel could only be used by drive-in guests and the grounds were spacious with plenty of parking. Since virtually ALL guests use the parking lots at Ocean Edge it seemed that parking should be included, even if the room price was higher to reflect that. Guests would rather not see the charge and often feel "nickel-dimed" by such charges when the amenity is really not optional. But the most disturbing fact was that when we called the hotel directly to book a room they told us that there would a resort fee and taxes a but that there is not a parking fee for guests!!! So why we charged a parking fee when we booked through Orbitz?

The rate was good. The room wasn't as clean for star rating, very much like timeshare units. Liked the resort but room wasn't as clean as expected. Furniture had a musky smell. Water marks on wall and ceiling. Some kitchen appliances didn't work and utensil inventory wasn't done (missing cups, plates etc). If our stay was longerI would have complained.

This is great for a getaway, especially if you like golf or the beach. For a rainy weekend like we had it was good to have a suite, but the bedroom was small and the kitchen was minimally outfitted. There were a couple of things that didn't work well (TV, toilet) and there is a daily resort charge in addition to the room cost. But overall it was a good deal, especially in the off-season.

Hotel room. Additional resort fee we found out about on the way out. The bill was left under the door which I find to be unprofessional. Not bad hotel but I found the person performing check in to be unfriendly. No housekeeping the first day. We had to call and request it. When we checked in my wife found dirty towel in the bathroom and hair in the bathtub. At the check in we were not told about additional resort fee that would be charged to our credit card. We found the bill under the door on the way out. Who does it? What kind of customer service is this? I am sure we will not go back to this place.

We were centrally located on Cape Cod. Sandwich, one day and Provincetown the next. The grounds and the beach were beautiful. It was great to have our own kitchen and maid service. We will return.

The resort is located in a beautiful part of Cape Cod. Charge of almost $20/day resort fee, though we didn't use facilities. This is a resort. It covers a huge area. We were in one of the villages on the non-waterfront side. We stayed there just to have a room on Cape Cod. What we got was a one-bedroom condo, comfortable, with a patio facing onto the golf course. There were some activities we could've used, but we didn't try any of them. Golfing would've been very expensive.
