The staff is absolutely amazing. Especially Winston and Coca Cola. The Food is terrible. I was disgusted and disapponted everytime. Everything was overly sweet tasting. The deserts were beautifully made but all taste the same. The a la cartes you have to make reservations for. And are terrible as well. The Rooms are old fashioned and have lots and lots of ants and bugs. No king size beds just 2 twin beds pushed together. Room service was great for the first couple of days then I guess she forgot to come and do her job. In the area get ready to listen to all types of sob stories for money. Cab drivers and even some hotel staff tried to scam with how low their salaries are. It seems as if you have to tip them to do their jobs. The beach wasnt well kept.

I just returned home from a week with my girlfriends. I just wanted to compliment the friendliness of the staff particularly Winston and Camouflage. They were really nice and very funny. The entertainment was great too. Nice resort. The Chicago gals.

rent to locals every weekend - fist fights at bar, dirty diapers around the pool - loud, rude unsupervised children running amok - very little english spoken - no towels even when you phone for them - had to get tour rep to get mattress without broken springs - bats in second floor room balconys - ants and mosquitoes in rooms - charge for safe in room - food in a la carte unbelievably awful - no irons available - no in room coffee - no in room bar - no king beds in any rooms

This place is only 75 to 85 dollars a nite, and that is all it is worth. I stayed for three nights, and every time I was there, someone complained about a theft. It appeared that each time the guest returned to their room, their windows were unlocked, after just locking them a short time ago. Some people reported that their luggage had been tampered with, but apparently the intruder did not find anything they liked. The food was not good. Odd food selections, and poor taste. All I need in the morning is a cup of coffee, and I could not even get real coffee. It was some kind of instant coffee, that you got from a machine. If you are from the States, keep in mind that very few people here speak English. There was little to do. The only bar that is open during the day is the pool bar, with no seats. At 10 or 11, the disco opened, so at that time, that is your only choice. So unless you want to watch 3 people on the dance floor, you are out of luck if you want to drink. I did not have hot water for two days. The sink was apparently old, so they put a coat of latex paint on it, NICE! Then they had the guts to approach me to join the VIP club, a hard sales pitch. Not sure what the cost was, but I guess VIP's get hot water. I do not recommend.
