Oasis Atlantico Praiamar (Praia, Santiago Island, Cape Verde) is a horrible hotel. Decrepit infrastructure. Outrageous prices. We had to check over 6 rooms to find 1 with functioning air conditioning. Hotel phones in most rooms did not work. The safety boxes’ locks were broken. There was no hot water. The TV channels were broken up. 1 hour of internet cost 6 Euros. The mattresses were uncomfortable. And all of this for over 150 Euros / night. 2 star “residencial” hotels have infinitely better facilities and services for ¼ the price.

Horrible hotel. Tried 6 rooms until 1 had working air conditioning. All rooms had the locks removed from the safety deposit boxes. Doors to rooms would not open. Phones in some rooms did not work. Lukewarm water comes on after 15 minutes of the water running. Conference room facilities are lamentable. And all this for over 150 Euro/night??! Very decrepit hotel in need of major renovation, not having facilities available in 2 star hotels for 1/4 price.
