After two weeks in wonderful New Zealand, we just needed a quiet place near the airport so that we would be ready for an early flight. Oakwood Manor was ideal - once we got there. We had dinner with friends in Auckland and then caught a cab. The driver got very lost trying to find the hotel and asked us if we had a map. We finally asked him to take us to the airport where we got another cab. That driver seemed uncertain about the Oakwood loacation, but got us there. The two cab fares were expensive. Definitely take a map!

Tea and frig bar with doors. No public space, remote , depressing, no internet. Needs remodel.

This is one VERY tired motor inn. I must make a mental note never to stay there again. They are close to Auckland airport and allow free car parking for up to a week if you stay a night. There is plenty of other accommodation nearby that offer the same thing, and I will be looking at those options rather than stay here again.

position was close to airport but very noisy with traffic all night.asked for two clean pillow cases as one was too small for the pillow and one was dirty.it took 3 trips and 5 hours later after reporting it to reception until finally getting them.would not recommend a stay longer than 1 night if you like sleeping.

Simply Awesome - the best value for money.

Very average hotel. Location is a 10 minute drive from the airport and the rooms and facilities are only just acceptable. Rooms are poorly insulated and the bathrooms are only just adequate. It maybe OK for one night but the cleaning staff seem to think it is their responsibility to make sure you wake up early by making a real racket at 7:30am. It may be cheap but not really a bargain considering the rest of the facilities.

enjoyed my stay there...very clean and helpful service...Though we ordered dessert throough room service and it wasnt worth the price which was the only downfall, but overall it was a good stay

We were on our 6th Wedding Anniversary. The room was of older decor, we had to sleep on 2 SINGLE BEDS, which were very uncomfortable. The TV was in such a position that you had to tilt your head back so far that it was also uncomfortable.

The internet connection is too expensive. Because of heavy traffic it is advisable to book rooms away from the main road.
