I would recommend this hotel to others, however it would benefit from having a ramp entry into the hotel as the 5 steps were difficult to navigate when carrying luggage. (There is a disability ramp but this is only put in place by request).

The service from the staff of the Oaks on Market Melbourne was excellent and the hotel fully lived up to our expectations. Great location and facilities. We will stay there again next time we visit Melbourne.

If you have a vehicle parking is a problem needing to use a nearby carpark at substantial extra cost. No heaters in the bathroom and lifts that did not cope with the numbers using them. Whilst an adequate establishment I do not believe the star rating accurate. Others at this rating preferred.

Very nice place to stay, quiet and clean and plenty of room, very conveniently located for transport, with good cafes close by or you can self-cater. There was some communication mix up, with our double room being prepared for one person (on two occasions), but enquiries were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The wide screen TV distorts the picture, but who cares, really?

The room was very quiet even though we were near the lift wells and service areas. The bed was very comfortable and we slept extremely well. The Staff were very obliging and friendly. Will definately stay at the Oaks on Market again. Could not be faulted.

Room was a bit dusty and carpet needed vaccuming, but was still quite comfortable. Hotel staff that I encountered were rude and unhelpful. Location was very good but i just expected more from a 4.5 star hotel

All was good. Lovely hotel with lovely rooms. Great Bar and restaurant. A bit of confusion with checking out with a muliple rooms booking, but we got it all sorted eventually.

This is a great place to stay. Central to everything. Make sure that they don't give you a studio room near the lifts. Breakfast in the Dining Room was very reasonable and great for the price. M Scott

This is a good hotel, great location, friendly and professional staff. Good facilities, we found the pool & Spa fantastic. While washing and drying facilities are available it needs to be stated that these are not in all the rooms and there is a charge to use them. In the unit that we stayed in there was no door separating the bedroom from the main area, and the airconditioning was noisy and didn't work well all the time we were there - although they did attempt to fix this when we advised them. We would definitely stay here again
