Not a good stay and would not stay here again. The apartment was cheaply furnished and had not had a good clean for some time. We stayed in 3 rooms because the air conditioning wasn't working in the 1st, the cockroaches in the second necessitated a move to the 3rd room. this supposedly the refurbished room! The drain form the swimming pool emptied out onto the deck of the room.The restaurant and bar have closed. The electronic swipe key cards didn't work instantly.

Good location, but old building, bad service, expensive, poor facilities difference to what has been promised by the renter/service provider: Lesson learned and be careful with who your service provider/renter/owner...shop around ask many service apartments in Sydney...

Hyde Park Plaza - College Street, There was only one guest left working to accommodate for more than 50 or 100 rooms in the hotel, as the other lift didn't work. We had made a complaint, but it was ignored. Spoke to few other guests, they mentioned that they won't came back to this hotel,paying expensive, not worthed, sometimes had to queue for only one left working. Advised to use maintenance lifts, but this doesn't make sense, guests to use 'maintenance lifts', instead of normal 'guest lifts'??? The other thing is 'noise' from other rooms are unbelievable...

Disappointing hotel.No bell boy,staff very poor so there is noone at the reception desk most of the time,even before closing time at 10pm. Will not recommqnd it.

I found the apartment needed a good paint job to brighten the rooms and make them a big more presentable. We had trouble with the entry keys and they had to be changed on two ocasions. The dishwashing liquid was not replaced each day. These were the only complaints I had

Hotel clean but a bit tired, good location, within walking distance to chinatown etc. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Could do with the restaurant up and running. Our air conditioning broke down, and they gave us the option to move apartments. All in all a pleasant place to stay

I wouldn't use this hotel again. It is very run down and tired. The fixtures and fittings need replacing. It has steel window frames so is incredibly noisy all night. The smoke alarms go off every time you have a shower and you have maintenance men running in and fanning the detectors to stop the fire brigade arriving. In this day and age it was a bit surreal. The room literature says Oaks hotel group pride ourselves on friendly helpful staff - they have not read the brochure!

The foyer and corridors were in need of a refurbishment however the rooms were very modern and immaculate.
