| Nice hotel. The one bed room was large. On check in, the lady was a bit arrogent but the rest of the staff were nice. Great location (right across from the beach on one side and shops on the other) and only 6 min drive to the airport. |

| Good hotel with a beautiful beach just across the road. Wonderful array of restaurants in the area, service was great everywhere we went. Every room has a kitchen and shopping is close by. We were there during ""schoolies week"" but the kids were further up around Surfers Paradise so it was quiet. Good bus service to all the attractions. |

| Decent size room with all the promised amenities, close to beach,shops and restaurants.Lovely pool with childrens slide and pool.Staff were approachable and helpful. |

| As expected, with a discount rate we did not have Ocean Views, however apartment was ideal for 2 people on a short stay. Only dissapointment was Restaurant, just not up to standard for this style of resort, stacks of dirty dishes in kitchen open to view of all guests, minimal menu, breakfast only average. Fortunateley some good restaurants in close proximity. Would certainly stay again, but wouldn't eat there unless significant amprovement. |

| Room was good, clean, very accessible to surrounding areas, including beach and was self contained, so easy to cook own food. lots of restuarants around anyway, gym, pool, spa, sauna and the staff were very friendly. secure parking it was well worth the money |

| We really enjoyed our stay. Check in/out was fast and fuss free. Facilities and rooms were good and kid friendly. Location fantastic. We plan to stay again in the near future. |

| Very Efficient and No fuss Service at the reception. Good parking conditions, secure with direct convenient access to from the hotel. In room, it is clean, tidy, complete and everything works as it should be. A pleasant stay and good value for money! |

| I enjoyed our stay Oaks Calypso, but not sure I would return. The room had an odd smell during our stay and the carpets in the hallway appeared to have some water damage. Our balcony had a de minimus view of the ocean and overlooked the lawn and roof to another hotel. The exercise equipment was limited and some appear to be inoperable. Otherwise it was a nice location in the downtown area across from the beach, which made it accessible to many places without the use of a vehicle. |
