It had a beautiful walking trail that would be acessable in nice weather. No movie rental. No pool. No hot tub. Put on hold for a long time. Did not recover my lost sweatshirt. This hotel has potential to be spectacular with its beautiful surroundings and large facilities, but seems to be missing some of the basics. Such as, a pool, rental movies and helpful customer service.

Will return in summer months to fully enjoy all the outside verandas, patios and trails along the lake. our room was so quiet with lovely view of the lake -- we purchased the breakfast with our room and the fresh fruit offerings were wonderful -- best of all was the omelet station with Chef X-- special ingredients made the omelets terrific. Even though Chaska is on the West side of the cites, we made the airport area in short order. The hotel has 1/2 levels with lovely views and huge fireplaces all overlooking the lake below.

We were shocked when we pulled up to this hotel! The design is so unique and the landscaping is gorgeous! My boyfriend thought I was checking him into a rehab facility (lol)! The staff was extremely helpful and there is SO much to do at the hotel, let alone the surrounding area. We had a beautiful veiw of the lake from our room and enjoyed the trail along the shore. The only disappointment we had was the lack of a pool but we were really too busy to have used it anyway. We'll definately be staying here anytime we're in the area.

Beautiful location and ambiance. Very comfortable bed with luxury sheets, pillows and blanket. There was no pool or spa - like I thought. The walk to/from the parking lot was slippery. This was a breathtakingly beautiful hotel. Would recommend it for a romantic get away or for business travel. Not recommended for folks with kids. Room service was very pricey, but very accommodating. Staff was excellent. Would have liked to have seen a pool or spa located here. Those two things would add so much. Would love to visit in warmer weather to really enjoy the walking trails. Rooms were very quiet, even when there were guests on either side of us. The beds and bedding were amazing! Best nights sleep I've had in a long time.

The Minnesota Renaissance Festival is one of the highlights of living in Minnesota. The Oak Ridge Hotel now offers package deals which include: A room, 2 tickets, 2 drinks at the hotel and shuttle to the festival and return trip back to the hotel. The staff is amazingly happy to help in any way. The hotel grounds are very well manicured, and the beds are very comfy especially after a long day walking the festival grounds. I have discovered a new way to make my yearly trek to the Renaissance more rewarding. Thank you Oak Ridge for your hospitality.
