The Oak Dell Motel is excellently situated...set back from a main road, and very near to the Crystal Mall (a major shopping mall) and within easy reach of the casinos, for a great price....which is why we booked there. The grounds are beautiful, with a stream running in the back. The road noises did not intrude into the room. We lucked out and got the Penthouse, a second story room, with a deck we could have used if the weather was better. The building harkens back to the early days of motels. It has been kept up (or maybe refurbished in period style) very well. The woman who runs and probably owns it is warm and accomodating. We intend to go back just for the fun of it, and maybe to make use of the nice pool out front.

Great place to take pets.Lots of area to walk pets Rooms large and very clean. Owner very friendlly and helpful. Pool was nice and easy to get to. Continetal breakfast served in A.M. Hotel close to interstate, with easy on/off exits.
