Go to Annapolis every couple of years for a get away weekend. Have often passed this hotel and wanted to try it. Glad we did. Friendly staff from the time we pulled up and gave car to valet parking. Friendly front desk, bartenders, etc. Weakest link--and it wouldn't deter me from returning--was the medioce Sunday morning buffet breakfast. Not bad, just nothing special. But...I've found this to be true of most hotels. Would return.

A taste of Ireland in Maryland. Fitness room could use some help. Great location, friendly hotel.

This was a total surprise. I was not even aware of this hotel until my internet search. Apparently it is part of a small Irish chain. The facilities in Annapolis were wonderful. The hotel is beautiful and convenient to all the premier points of interest in town. They even provide a shuttle service which we did not use and umbrellas for inclement weather. Parking is easy. The staff could not have been friendlier and the bar and dining options were lots of fun. There are both business and health club amenities I would recommend it in a flash (and already have) and look forward to returning there and to their other properties.

It's Irish ambiance. Poor view from room. Great hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

The O'Callaghan Annapolis Hotel is an excellent place to stay for Annapolis travelers who are looking for a quality hotel that is less costly than those by the water. This hotel is it!! The rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable, and the staff members are all very friendly and eager to help in any way they can--one of them even drove me to a pharmacy to purchase a hot water bottle when my friend threw his back out. We very much enjoy the short walk to the waterfront and browsing in the varied shops along the way, but those who are not so inclined can ride the hotel shuttle back and forth to their local destinations up to 10:30 pm. Additionally, there are both casual and elegant dining options all around the hotel, which also offers its only bar and restaurant.

Location, friendly staff, nice building, valet parking service wasexcellent. Room was not upscale - carpet was stained, bed & bedding just average motel quality.

the customer service was very good the only complaint for the 5 days was that the ice machines on all floors were not working and you had to go to the bar for ice...

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was not very modern. Beds were not comfortable and floor was not vacuumed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle took us to a nearby restaurant so we did not have to walk or drive our car. However, the room was not very up-to-date. The mattresses (2 queen-sized) were not comfortable and seemed worn-out. The floor appeared as if it was not vacuumed.

First time at this hotel. The location is just a few blocks walk from the historic area. There are lots of great art galleries and restaurants surrounding the hotel. The neighborhood is nice- artsy- fun. I enjoyed my stay here and got a fantastic rate. There is no free parking for the hotel, but they offer valet and there is parking options on the street and a parking garage one block away.

I liked the old world decor. The first room had a foul smell of smoke so we were switched to another room. Room was dated. There were spots on the carpet etc. This hotel was okay. I have been to better and worse.

The O'Callaghan is at a great location on West Street. Annapolis is an incredible city for walking and the hotel is within a mile of everything you'd want to see - Main Street, Maryland Ave, the Naval Academy, St Johns, etc. The staff is friendly and very knowledgable. The room was clean and well-stocked with towels and amenities. The valet service is very good - but you'll rarely use your car, unless you head to DC.

We liked the European flair of the hotel with Irish staff working there and the hotel was well situated to the downtown area.

O'Callaghan hotel was a beautiful and comfortable hotel. My stay was easy and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

It rained all weekend and the hotel had lots of covered parking as you packed and unpacked. The lobby was small and unimpressive but staff friendly. Overall we felt this hotel was fine but it was not as impressive as expected when we were told we had been upgraded to a 3.5 star hotel. I've stayed in 3 Star hotels that were more impressive. The rooms were spacious and nicely appointed and a few rooms have balconies with appropriate finishings.

The staff gave us a choice of rooms, ie: top floor or far from elevator. Nothing! The desk clerk was very friendly and welcoming - no snobbery. The hotel location was excellent, the room was very attractive, and the dining room menu, while somewhat limited, offered delicious food. Also, despite the downtown location, our room was located in a very quiet section.

Staff was mostly helpful. Location is an easy walk to many restaurants. Hotel needs to be updated. Wallpaper is peeling. Bathroom tiles are cracked. Good location close to historic districts, restaurants and bars. Parking on site for $15/day. Rooms need to be refreshed: wallpaper, furniture, tiles. Limited TV channels. Business center is limited, but functional.

Staff very nice. Boring, Plain, limited room service.

Rooms and staff. Hotel met our expectations. Staff was very friendly and eager to assist in any way they could.
