Staff friendly & helpful, room adequate and clean, location fine for business traveler (adjacent to motorway access and 20 minutes from Manchester) but hotel building and atmosphere uninspiring, TV channels very limited (e.g. no CNN, BBC3 or 4, BBC World (France 24 instead?), or foreign channels)

No towels provided for pool. Breakfast far too expensive. No path to get to the childrens play area across the very wet grass. Room very cramped especially between the beds.

In general the hotel was very good. However the service in the resturant for both dinner and breakfast could be substaintially improved

Bedrooms are in need of a refurbishment and the proximity to the motorway needs to be taken in to account if looking for a quiet nights sleep, otherwise an enjoyable stay.

Reasonable value at the late rooms price of £55, wouldn't want to pay the full rate of £99 (breakfast extra at a minimum £12.50 a head - we didn't so can't comment on value for money). Although effectively on the edge of a motorway, well screened by by trees, and the secondary glazing keeps noise out effectively. Didn't eat here, but the menu looks overpriced. Our room was very large, with a separate wc as well as the usual en suite (not very good shower). Hi-tech flatscreen tv including facility to receive messages, view bill online etec.

Hotel staff a real plus nothing is too much trouble for them. Also local Pub next door, handy for a drink and bar snack if you want a change from Hotel environment. Venue has easy access from motorway network, and is close to Trafford Centre for late night shopping too!

The room was small for a family room, the walls were thin and you could hear people talking in the corridor at all hours of the night. Having said that, the staff were very friendly.

this hotel was and may still be going through major renovations. if only some one had mentioned that you would need to literally walk through the building site and into a single service elevator... the room was very poor and noisy. even though i was on the 6th or 7th floor, builders came past the window on a platform while i was getting dressed.....

excellent customer service. we had requested a smoking romm but were allocated a non smoking, asked for and were given one with no problems. rooms very clean and tidy, there was a wedding on, and unlike previous complainer we could hardly hear anything. breakfast was outstanding, great selection and very good service. all in all i would highly recommend this hotel.

Good Location and Excellent car park Security. Breakfast, Although expensive, was of a high standard and you can eat until your heart is contents. Didn't need lunch so in all probability the cost was neutral. Room very clean and all in all very good value. This will be the first hotel I try to book when I next reurn to Manchester.

Having read the mixed reviews from other previous guests i wasn't sure whether to go ahead with this hotel or not.Gladly i did as it turned out to be a very pleasant stay in a very clean well equiped room. Their was a few minutes confusion when i arrived as the reception staff weren't aware of my stay as they had not checked the fax recieved from laterooms. However once this was looked at they gave me a room straight away and had no problems whatsoever. There was also a wedding party taking place until 2am and i asked the staff to put me in a room as far away as they could and because of this i had a very quiet and comfortable nights sleep. i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone but at £79 for the night it might be possible to get the same experience for maybe £50-£60 with someone else.

The service at the Hotel was very poor. Receptionist was rude and not efficient. Food was not of good quality, a piece of elastic was found in my meal. Only compensation offered was a free drink. I will not be staying here again; if you stay I hope you have a better time than me.

This hotel is being partly refurbished but there was absolutely no inconvenience to us. A really nice and quiet hotel with friendly and efficient staff. The room was really nice and the bathroom was very clean. On the night we stayed (mid-term hols) there were plenty of young couples and families with children there. Food was relatively expensive but there is a pub next door.
