The Parking facilities let this hotel down, the car park was difficult to find from the details given by the concierge. I think the hotel should offer a parking facility, drop off your bags and then they park, it was very difficult with young children, and in the rain. The hotel was clean, friendly and contemporary, I would stay there again on business, but not with the family. The bar area was good and friendly, but no child friendly snacks, or tapas available.

We stayed at this hotel with my 7 year old daugther for her Birthday treat. Booking was very simple on late rooms. we arrived at the hotel very early but the staff were more than happy to store our luggage whilst we explored the sights. We didn't spend much time in our room, but we found it very clean and comfortable, we would definatley stay here again, there was ample space for us, and it was especially ideal for the tube, only 2 minutes walk away

Perfectly good for a weekend tourist hotelWe arrived early & were still able to check in to our room straight away. No kids gift pack given to us as mentioned in other reviews & I forgot to ask for one anyway. Good location for seeing the sights with the kids, excellent family friendly restaurants nearby & we also found a fantastic place for lunch - Pod, sandwiches, salads & soups with a strong focus on organic produce and at the same prices as a fast food joint. There is a small garden space near the hotel for the kids to run around in. A taxi to the West End is about £12.00 if you want to venture further afield. Hotel was clean, newly decorated rooms & felt like good value for money at LateRooms prices. A busy restaurant at breakfast was expensive at £14.50 per adult, and at 8am there wasn't anywhere else open nearby ie we tried Wetherspoons, but the hotel do not charge kids for breakfast & the food is plentiful. TOP TIP: (if you've bothered to read this far!) do the Duck Tour it is absolutely the best way to show children & adults the sights!!

Can't fault itDidn't have any food so can't comment on that, but for an overnight stop in the City area of London it was perfect. Very modern and great value for money (I got a very good deal through LateRooms).

Rooms were clean and spacious. Check in was efficient and quick. Location was good for underground and a good tourist base. I cannot comment on the standard of food as we didn't eat in the hotel. I would recommend this hotel and would use again.

Below standardsUpon arrival, our reservations could not be found. After 20 mins, they placed us in a very basic room (less than Holiday Inn) and we had a superior room. It was clean. However, no info books regarding the city, or even a pen or pencil. Even worse, no air conditioning!

This hotel is ideally situated being just moments away from Tower Hill Tube Station. We travelled with our children (6 + 8 years) who received a gift when we checked in. It is a family friendly place - the kids were on a double sofa bed. The staff were all excellent and very helpful. I cannot fault the place! We had the hotel breakfast on the first morning which was good but pricey at £14.50 each (kids eat free). The second morning we ate at Wetherspoons and the food was disgusting although cheaper at £16.50 for the four of us. We are vegetarians and have low expectations of cooked breakfast but the meat eaters at the next table looked equally unhappy with their food.

This was a clean hotel and proved a comfortable stay,We had our 3 and 4 year old daughters with it being situated right by the underground it was ideal as a base for us to explore london. At £14 a breakfast we decided on eating it in weatherspoons round the corner and all 4 ate for £12.Lovely bar down the stairs and im sure if we had nt had the kids we would have made use of it!

Avoid the hotel until the restaurant and bar renovations, and the check-in renovations, are complete (Spring 2009?). There is limited space available in the restaurant, hence there are long queues at breakfast waiting for a table. The temporary reception desk has only 2 computer terminals, hence more queuing. Don't be in a rush to leave, especially on a Friday morning. Regrettably, the trendy, garish "sofa-style" seating in the partly opened restaurant is uncomfortable, and the menu is very poor. Try the Novotel St Pancras for a much better experience and a classier restaurant.

WE were so pleased with the hotel, the quality of the room for the money and the friendliness of the staff. It was really welcoming and the Staff were really good with the kids and gave them a gift each.

Very friendly and helpful staff who made every effort to make our stay an enjoyable one. The family room was very comfortable and clean. The location of the hotel was excellent for touring London due to its proximity to the underground and the cruise boats. Overall a very pleasant stay!

A great hotel for a short break to London with the kids. We love the \"city\" as it is quieter at the weekend and full of historical interest and this hotel is brillaintly placed for strolling around the city, catching the tube, or the bus into the West End. It's 2mins from transport, The Thames, The Tower etc. The room was a fair size and my kids were shattered from roaming around looking at the sites they didn't quibble about sharing a double sofa bed which was the bed for the 2 children. All the staff were helpful and although there were works being undertaken it didn't bother us.

Hotel was great value for money.good central location.Very clean and friendly staff.Breakfast was expensive though at £14 each. Great quiet location for families and tower hill tube is 2 minutes around the corner.Would def recommend this hotel and would def stay again. Not sure its worth the £250 per night though!
