Staff were really great, i was upgraded as soon as i asked, and had the best views. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bars were excellent and always available. Food was perfect. I will definitely be back for some more.

My husband and I stayed at the Resort 9/23 to 9/27 and we liked it so well that we returned, after traveling around Queensland, for our last two nights in Australia,, 10/10 and 10/11/08. So we stayed there a total of 6 nights. The deal included breakfast each day, and as we found meals to be expensive in Australia in general, and said breakfast cost $28 per person, so having breakfast included is a good thing, if you can get it. While this is not a luxury type resort, it is a very well located (easy walking distance to anywhere of interest in Cairns) 6 floor hotel, that is very clean and pleasant. Attractive lobby area, dining room opens onto tropical gardens, and the nice pool has a small beach with a swim up bar too! The rooms are nice enough, and very clean. There is a very small balcony off the room. Really nice comfy beds with good linen too. (I like a nice bed!) Bathrooms are small but perfectly adequate and well lit, with a hair dryer. The staff at the Resort were wonderful. From the moment we arrived until we said good-bye, we had really geat friendly and helpful service. We highly recommend this Resort. You get great value for your money. We would return there in a minute!

We arrived to be advised that we were being upgraded to one of their refurbished rooms. The room looked very smart. the borhcures and images on the web show that kitch reefy kinda feel to the rooms - you know the bed spreads and starifsh bedboards. Well that's all gone now. The rooms have a fresh and funky feel about them now - new beds and flat screen TV. Very comfortable and clean indeed. Staff were genuinely help full and we liked the pool bar (can you ever go wrong with a pool-bar?!). amazing pool complex - stunning and location was really close to town - Great for getting out at night and a light evening stroll back. This place just rocked for us - will definately be referring friends here.

Exceptionally comfortable beds but could benefit from at least a queen and a double. Pool is beautiful and provided hours of entertainment with its sandy beach.

Arrived in April, just at the close of the wet season - great time of year. This resort looks just as amazing as the photos on here show. Sure the rooms are getting a little tiried, and I was told by the staff that they will begin refurbishing the hotel soon. The service was excellent, so i'll be back after they do it up for sure !

We enjoyed our stay very much and will definately return. Staff were excellent, very helpful in every aspect.. On our first check in we were not happy with our room, staff went out of their way to change this and make sure we were happy.

place was great but on checkin I was advised they are going to take an imprint of your credit card and now have taken a $50 deposit in which I have to wait 5-7working days for this to be returned. I dont mind paying this but management should be advising staff to tell guests exactly what they are doing. Its not an imprint its a deposit. The card used was a visa debit card so its not taking money from my credit its taking money from my savings account
