Too much expensive and not value for moneyI f you say Ok to pay £165 for one night in an executive room but with "no complimentary" internet access (though it was written on laterooms.com it was complimentary and I struggled to get it free referring to reservation confirmation paper I had) and a huge queue for breakfast and checking in and out then you will have no issue.

Hotel was nice and clean. Room was not worth the £135 that i paid for the night for me and my best friend. Keycard didnt work and had to go down to reception twice to get it sorted, where the staff were rude because i looked young. They asked if the room was mine and if i had a reservation, like i was given a keycard by someone else and had wondered off the street. I was unimpressed by this.

Internet accessI started to dealing with guest service as I was not able to connect internet by wire. A guy came to the room finally after the second claim call. He looked very kind but didn't find a solution in the evening and told me that he would call contractor in the following morning. When I came back to the hotel at the second night, nothing was improved for internet connection but the other problem occuered to TV. I could swich on TV but automatically swiches off after 10 minutes. I tried repetedly but no help. I decided to go to recepcion and explained what had happened. He said that he reset the system and asked me to try again. I came back to the room and tried but nothing had changed. I called the receptionist and asked to send someone when I would be away on the 3rd day. I came back in the evening and tried to connect internet but no improvement. I had just given up finally as it was the last night for me for the stay. I know I could connect to internet at reception area where they support wireless but it was not convenient for me as PC battery lasts in 1-2 hours. it was my trip to find the living place in London, and the location of the hotel was neally ideal but just wished to review properties on Web site in evening after viewing properties in day time. I just regret that I didn't ask to change the room at the begining but I might be too modest.

Good location, decent hotelVery pleased with the location, convenient for Underground and for getting to the A4. Decent facilities, typical Novotel room. Pretty good hotel facilities. Efficient and friendly staff

This was my worst overnight hotel experience for a long, long time. Never again. The staff were ignorant and not interested in any level of service, a an example, I was sat down at breakfast at a table that was full of dirty plates from the previous guest, the breakfast was a buffet, I had 3 courses over 45 mins and the table was still not cleared and I had still not been served coffee even though I had asked 4 members of staff during this time. The food was extremely poor at the evening meal and breakfast. Again the evening meal was a buffet all the food was dried out and as I got a desert I noticed that the desert trays were full of flies. I then left the restaurant. The accommodation was sub standard, my bed had a tilt all night and was solid. The sink did not drain, only 1 out of four lifts worked and at busy times it took 15 mins to get in it.. I tried to call down to guest services to report my sink and the phone just rang for over 15 mins. with no answer, I eventually gave up. Needless to say I will never use a novotel again.

There was not a lot of space in the room and the shower water was only just warm in the morning.

Novatel London West (hammersmith)An ok hotel. Completely impersonal and anonymous. Practical rather than nice.Massively expensive breakfast too!

Have stayed here a few times now and the hotel really is in an excellent location. I prefer this hotel as compared to typical London hotels the rooms are a good size and modern in style. Parking very secure. Room Service very good too.

at busy times the reception can be crowded and there are no clear instructions or lines to follow when checking out, resulting in a scramble and free for all, which could be easily remedied by using rope boundary lines for each hotel receptionist.Hope that is understandable!

Modern, clinical and without atmosphere. Clean tidy and comfortable however.

Appalling service, ignorant staff, poor value for money - did not stay long enough to try the food. They lost our booking, then ignored us, gave us the wrong room, ignored us further, tried to pass a sofa as a standard bed, and then charged us for parking when we did not stay! To be fair the reception was busy; with other people complaining! I would never go to this hotel again, will tell all my friends not to go there and will avoid the Novotel chain worldwide!

Best hotel I've stayed in at that price. Wish I'd known about it on previous trips to Apollo Theatre as It's so close. Not much else in Hammersmith though. Would definitely stay again.

room was fine. beds were comfortable. i found shower difficult to get water out of shower head, but daughter managed it for me.only two tea bags and two milks provided. if you do not drink coffee it means only one hot drink. i suppose this may be good business as it may tempt people to take from fridge. i will try to bring tea bags and powdered milk another time, or perhaps ask for more tea. price of breakfast at £17.00 per head way too high would not even consider it.

Difficult to find - in a strange location

Genrally ok, but room was a bit shabby in places - the trouser press nearly fell off the wall. No free internet. Expensive bar - £4 for a pint. No Sky Sports!

large, dated hotel showing its age.If you are a fan of The Shining you will love the walk to your room.

Poor maintenance. I could not plug my sink so had to wash under a running tap.
