First let me say the outcome was excellent BUT it started out poorly. The entrance is grand and beautiful and classy . The room however modern ,was hot and no air circulation. Then the lamp didn't work. We had just commented that we are glad we gotsuch a great rate with Orbitz as we would have been very angry to have paid the posted rates.... My husband went to take a shower and at 10:30 at night there was NO hot water at all. So by now we had become completely upset. The hotel was very good and exceptional in rectifying the situation by moving us to a bigger suite but more importantly a climate controlled room with hot water and a few little extras to make up for the inconvenience of changing rooms at 11pm. Even with the great rate I would be particular and selective in accepting a room immediately upon checkin. Great location though.

We were impressed by the friendly nature of staff. No sheets & duvets are too warm. Pillows are hard. It's the first time we've stayed at a Novotel property and we were pleasantly surprised.

The satff at reception were very freindly and helpful, arranging airport transfers and assisting with our small child's needs.

Breakfast was not included, so I saved * per night with your 20% discount but I had to pay * for breakfast per day. This was very dishonest from you. I made my deposit in usd and the rate of exchange they applied was not the one shown in their notice in the wall of the front desk, it was lower, with no reason. I choose this hotel, among other reasons, because of the aeroplan miles, but I did not get them either. Last but not least, is that we were treated like third class tourists because we were not the ones who actually paid for the stay and therefore we had no right whatsoever to ask or to claim anything. It was a travel website reservation, and we were told this by the front desk receptionist upon our check in. Not sure we will use again this hotel chain and travel website.

Fantastic lobby, free internet and security of the building. Great quiet location yet was close to the sights and the nightlife. Conveniently located near public transit and the major expressway. Friendly, helpful staff made the stay enjoyable.

I thought the Novotel Toronto Centre was great. My room was very comfortable and well appointed... spotlessly clean. And the place seems virtually soundproof. I never heard my neighbors through the walls or ceiling. The folks at the desk were gracious and helpful. And the location is excellent. Cafe Nicole is expensive, but delicous. Service is kind of slow, though. I would definitely stay again.

Great location at the base of Younge St. in Toronto.

The location is wonderful as there are several restaurants, sites, bus stops, train stations and water transporation within walking distance. The plumbing was not fantastic, our shower had to be snaked several times during our 5 day stay. Parking is very expensive * a day. The pool is small and a consistant 4' deep, the hot tub was decent. We did receive two wake up calls that we did not request but the staff apologized. Overall it was a good hotel, I would stay again.

Clean spacious rooms, friendly staff. Everything was great. Exceeded our expectations. Nice clean hotel. Friendly staff. Attentive to our needs but not nosy or over bearing.

This was our second stay at this hotel. We really like it because it is very close to many attractions we were interested in--like the Hockey Hall of Fame, Eaton Center, CN Tower, Roy Thompson Hall. The room is very comfortable and and the staff is helpful and friendly. The buffet breafast is fabulous and the kids eat free. The only thing to know is, do not even pick up anything in the mini-bar fridge or the water bottles on the countertop. My kids picked up a bottle of water and must have taken off a piece of paper indicating that they were not complimentary, because I assumed they were. We used them for coffee in the morning and they charged us 4.50 per bottle!!! The items are on a sensor pad and the front desk knows exactly what you touch.

Good location, great price, and nice clean room. Confusing keyed elevators. Haven't seen that before and was not advised about them. Friendly staff, clean modern environment. Check in was fast and painless.

Novotel Toronto Centre proved to be a good choice. Very quiet room and the hotel itself is in a less busy area of the city, though near enough to metro to go where you want to go without much inconvenience. Overall it provided a clean, quiet accomodation.

Great location, efficient check in and check out, organized, comfortable, and clean. Nothing; it was perfect for our needs. Upon arrival, the staff was organized and helpful to any tourist questions. The check in was brief and efficient, there were absolutely no problems with our Priceline reservation. The room was better than expected since they gave us two double size beds. The hotel overall was very nice looking and clean. I definitely feel like I got my moneys' worth and more.

"We were very pleased with this hotel on every level. It is right downtown and very close to the PATH (enter at Union Station). The beds were very comfortable and the room had a luxury feel to it. We brought our dog and were greeted with a doggie welcome pack. The buffet breakfast was free for kids under 17 and was very good, including many healthy choices. The pool was kind of small, good for kids to have fun, but not for swimming. The only negative was the parking fee. We will definitely stay here again."

Pretty good for the price paid. On the same floor as the swimming pool, so got to swim early in the morning and enjoyed it. Good location and pretty safe. Did not park car in garage though. Not sure if it was still under construction. On the whole it was good experience.
