Hotel was good! The restaurant was a bit expensive but there are other options near by. $17 to park underground wasn't good. Height limit of 6'1" didn't accommodate my rather large Ford 350. Customer service was good, rooms were clean. Went to see Jersey boys, very good show!

Took a trip to Toronto for a hockey tournament. Was looking for a Hotel near the subway to get back and forth from downtown without trouble. This was the place. The lobby leads into a small mall with several shops and places to eat breakfast or have a coffee in the morning. The Subway is in the mall only feet from the lobby. There is also a grocery store and an LCBO directly accross the street. Very convienient. The area was a little expensive. The hotel bar area was expensive as well. If you are looking for a cheaper place to stay in North York this is very nice. The staff was nice and accomodating.

Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, very clean. The price of the buffet breakfast. This is a very nice hotel for adults. I'm not sure if I'd recommend it for a family with two or more young children. There was alot of open area and running space in the entrance area.

I stayed at Novotel TOronto North York with my husband and 2 kids. My kids enjoyed the pool very much. The staff were very helpful and gave little toys to my children upon check in. We had breakfast in the restaurant, the food was of good quality and the servers took really good care of us. The hotel is not in the downtown area but it is on the subway line so it was easy for us to get to downtown area. I enjoyed it very much.

Superb location. Next to the subway and a great shopping area across the street. The shopping area contained a food store. So many excellent and ethnic restaurants on Yonge street. I would stay there again!

The rooms in this hotel are very small and skimpy. There was room for only one chair and a very small table. There were only three small drawers in which to place your belongings. There were no tables on each side of the bed on which to places, glasses, wristwatch, clock, etc.

We had flown to Toronto so we could attend my nieces wedding and had booked a room months before through online travel at Novotel Toronto North York. When we arrived in Toronto we received a frantic call from my niece who had gone to the hotel with wine and flowers intending to surprise us but instead was told by the front desk that they didn't have our reservation and didn't have any rooms available! My Niece (the Bride) lives in a small condo and had other family members staying with her already so she was terribly upset. I called the Hotel and was told they didn't have our reservations, I explained that I had paid for the room several months before and had my online travel confirmation for a Novotel Deluxe King room, he said they were sold out and had no rooms available and could not help me, I would need to call online travel. After spending more than 2 hours on the phone (Still in the airport) with online travel a room materialized, but not the room we had paid for ( Deluxe King) they only had a room with two double beds and only for that night - we would have to call online travel in the morning to see if they could find another hotel, or go to another Novotel in Toronto - this was not an option, we needed to be in the North York area. With no other option we agreed to take the available room, it was already after 1:00AM and snowing like crazy - we still had to find our way to the hotel. When we finally did find the hotel it was almost 2:00am, the front desk staff was completely nonchalant and unapologetic about the fiasco, when I showed him my printed confirmation and asked how this could have happened - he just shrugged his shoulders and they either didn't get the info from online travel or did and someone at the hotel lost it (nice). He asked if we would be staying the entire four nights, I told him that I was told they were book and had no rooms, he said they had a cancellation so would be able to provide a room for our entire stay, so I asked if they woul

The staff at this hotel is very friendly and helpful with any questions. There is a very good restaurant right across the street with probably the best breakfast in the area. The subway is located right under the hotel which makes for great travel.

We had 3 adults in our room & were very pleased with Novotel. Metro attached to the building/SUPER convenient. We were told fantastic restaurants are across the street, but ran out of time. Toronto Center for the Arts is next door!!! Room was clean;bathroom very large. Just wished they'd had a refrigerator instead of the ""minibar"", The staff was pleasant and helpful. :-) Definitely liked the huge, parking garage.

The best feature of the Novotel North York is its location with easy access to Highway 401. The hotel is basic but comfortable and clean and modern. Right on Yonge St with restaurants etc within walking distance. Good value for this mid town location. we did not use the pool or fitness which again seem pretty basic but are at no extra charge. We did have the breakfast buffet on the morning we were leaving and it too was pretty basic with limited choices but certainly adequate. The staff was helpful and friendly and accomodated us with a room change after the 1st nite's stay (we were there for a total of 5 nites). Parking is in an attached garage and there were some problems with their new system to exit the garage but the hotel staff were quick to issue coupons so we had no further problems getting in and out. The room itself was comfortable and clean and there is wifi internet access I am told but we didn't use it.

The shower! Female travelers over 40 prefer hand held showers. Easier on the back. Entry way a little narrow. Door should have mechanism to stay open to allow easy access with luggage. Modern, clean, efficient, private, high quality.

Close to subway and downtown but not too close! Stupid comments about the scanner in the fridge! Excellent hotel - I would recommend to others. Thanks!

The pool & dressing rooms were clean, not crowded. There were even some pools toys for the kids to play with. $17 parking.
