It was the perfect place to stay overnight for connecting flights out of Hong Kong.

Modern minimalist interior decor with spacious and good natural light. Situated in a shopping complex where you can easily find many choices of food and fashion. Logical and excellent selection for international transit.

Beautiful new hotel with good connection to the airport. MTR provides for access to the city, but obviously quite a long ride.

The staff were very friendly, efficient and fast. Check-in and check-out were very snooth. Also dined in the buffet. Food was excellent and our waitress Koko was exceptional.

We enjoyed opur stay at the Novotel Citygate. The room was extremely well designed and furnished, with great views. In particular we found the attitude of the staff to be helpful and responsive, and nothing was a problem. This attitude was particularly appreciated as we arrived with only the clothes we were wearing, all our luggage having been lost in transit from Paris. The desk staff volunteered to chase up the airline baggage section to facilitate the early return of our luggage, which is what did happen. We would recommend the Novotel Citygate very highly for travellers who need to stay in close proximity to the airport.

A very nice hotel with a beautiful view from our room. A bit mean with the tea and coffee in the room. Very handy for the airport. We would stay here again.

Was the best hotel that we have ever stayed in. Right next to the airport but did not hear a thing. Sound proofing was exceptional and the room was out of this world. Would recommend to any one stopping in Hong Kong

A good place to rest with a large shopping centre adjacent and the coast not far away either. The modern room was generously sized, but was a little short on facilities - no snacks in the mini bar, for example; no wine glasses in the room. Room service was fast, but check-out unreasonably slow and complicated. Overall, a good experience and not too far from downtown or airport. I'd stay there again.

Excellent hotel, nice finish on infrastructure. Polite and effective staff. Great breakfast buffet, good cocktails in the bar. One of the better hotels I've been to. Recommended!!

A very good hotel if you have a short stay on Hong Kong and want to be near the airport. You can easily get the cable-car to the giant Buddha and also visit Tai O fishing village on Lantau Island. Outlet shopping mall near hotel good for food and clothes. However, less convenient if you want to have a late night partying in areas like Causeway Bay, Wan Chai etc as MTR would not be running but you could still taxi back ....

Arrived about 7pm...very quiet. Had to carry my own luggage into the hotel...no porters around that I could see. I left my bags at the front door while I checked in. It wasn't busy at all, and check-in was easy. I went to my room and waited and waited for my bags to arrive. I was about to call the concierge when the front desk rang to ask if I was waiting for my bags. Well, yes! Other than that, it's a great hotel, in a great position close to MTR and shops upstairs. I didn't particularly enjoy the restaurant - even at breakfast they played loud music that seems to be more suited to teenagers, and it was difficult to tell which foods were vegetarian and which contained meat. But I would stay again - the hotel is clean and modern and close to the airport.

The room smells like toilet when we checked in, although overall the hotel looks sparkling clean. The location is very convenient if you are going to the outlet mall for shopping, which is connected to this hotel. That was exactly the reason we chose this hotel and we were quite happy about our decision.

The location is good for comming and going from the airport. Also good for visiting Asia World Expo. A ride with the MTR down to Wan Chai should take you 1 hour including walking to and from the MTR station. And that ride cost u 23 HKD. There is a big shopping area just outside the hotel. In this shopping area there are mainlt outlet shops from famous brands.
