Very central hotel. Noticed large sofa beds in room that would easily take two older children. Not bad late room rate for city centre.

My daughter and I stayed at the hotel recently. On arrival we were met the a warm welcome from the female receptionist. This employee was courteous helpful and very professional. The same manner of service was given by all members of staff including the young gentleman who checked us out. I would stay at this hotel again and have recommended it to others. A++++

The shower did not work and there was water seeping up through the wooden floor in the toilet - presumably the toilet was leaking. Also the cleaning was not up to standard - I found some dirty underwear (not mine!) under the table cum desk. The breakfast is overpriced. We have stayed at this hotel on two previous occasions and found it perfectly satisfactory and, in terms of the rate for the room, good value for money.

Hotel was fine. no problems. The resturant was clean and tidy and the waiters/waitresses helpful. When I ordered my meal it took 1 hour to receive my main course whgich was revolting and the resturant was nowere full. The starter (fish dish) was fine. The main course (belly of pork on roste and vegetables) was so overcooked it was actually burnt. The roste was not edible is it was oily and horrible. The vegetables were overcooked and limp and the source drowned any flavours still left. The breakfast m,enu was fine. I have never had probems with Novotel hotels and I would still stay at the Manchester venue but I would not use their dining facilities unless it improved considerably.

Staff were friendly, but I stayed for 2 nights & both nights I put out my 'breakfast in the room' card & both mornings the card was still hanging on the door despite speaking to someone after the first breakfast was missed & was assured that the card would be picked up that night - I was disappointed when it was still there in the morning but sadly not surprised! If you want a clean room for the night & don't expect the services offered to be available then you will enjoy your stay as although right in the centre of Manchester there was no noise (stayed Thurs & Fri nights) which I was plesantly surprised about & the bar area was very nice aswell. I would have rated this hotel very highly if it had not been let down by the night staff!!

This was booked last minute so that we could enjoy the Manchester Pride weekend, we found the hotel excellent! It was situated in a perfect spot with easy access to where we wished to visit. The hotel staff were very friendly and service was efficient. We will definitely be staying at this hotel in the future!

A great hotel, very close to the city centre, stations etc. Despite being a busy weekend, the staff were helpful and attentive, especially in the bar!! The room was clean, spacious and well presented. All in all, this was a great hotel at a great price!! Would definately consider staying here again...

Nice hotel, but we were allocated a noisy room (next to an air con unit?) with a very uncomfortable bed. Couldn't help feeling we were given the least comfortable room in the hotel because we'd booked through Late Rooms.

Superb city centre location in close proximity to Oxford Road, Piccadilly and Deansgate stations. All you can eat Chinese buffets in abundance in surrounding area for a fiver, along with Yates pub literally 2 minutes across the road. A five minute walk to Primark, Canal Street and tram stop. Perfect location for a great night/weekend in Manchester. Hotel staff were very friendly upon arrival and check in was swift. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable (We stayed in a standard double). Bar and restaurant looked very nice although we did not use them during our stay.

Te staff were friendly and efficient. The room was dull and colourless but clean. the Bathroom basin was made of a reconstituted grey brown stone as you would find in a public convenience. Our view overlooked a walled and barbed wire compound and our window was near an air conditioning unit so we had to keep it closed. All in all not a pleasant experience but it served our purpose for just sleeping. The bed was very comfortable.

Overall pretty good. Only criticisms -- bathroom needs updating compared with other hotels of similar price bracket, but perfectly clean. Breakfast overpriced at £12.50 -- £7.50 would be more like it, plus maybe the option of a light breakfast at a lower price.Plus points -- there is a fridge in the room, plus aircon -- these really should be standard by now, in line with other European countries.

Nice clean hotel with very friendly staff. Well located in city centre. Not sure about the value of its advertised rack rate but on a Late Rooms rate it was very good value for money.
