We were in town for soccer tournament and this was the perfect place. 10 minutes from the soccer fields, relaxing environment. Nice little lounge to relax in. Excellent food both in the lounge and resturant. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The Northland Inn was great. My husband and I spent our wedding night here and had a great time. The lounge was great, the food and drinks were good too. We enjoyed the oversized hot tub the most! Overall, we had a great experience at the Northland Inn.

Very friendly, quick, and helpful service. The living room of the suite was smaller than I expected--I had a little pre-party there--but otherwise, everything was great, especially for Brooklyn Park, MN. (Great freeway access, btw.) Giant jacuzzi tub for that special someone...

Loved the place and would stay there again. It was close to everything that we needed in the location we were somewhat familiar with.

Large bathroom and tub. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Looks very upscale and was probably a much better place for business travelers than for a family. First, the elevators were the slowest I have been in, second, there are no pop machines anywhere (trying to force you into expensive room service).

I thought that the hotel was very beautiful. The beds were so comfortable that we never really got out of them. I LOVED!! the whirlpool tub that is in every suite, it's HUGE! The buffet style restaurant was EXPENSIVE, we ate outside the hotel. I loved that the gym, although small, was always empty. The pool is very small. I loved the price, I'm thinking it was low because you have to pay for EVERYTHING! including the bottle of Fiji water they sit on your table that says, ""upon consumption you will be billed 4.00!"" That's rediculous

We stayed at the Northland Inn during the Republican National Convention although we were not in town for the event. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Friendly folks who talked with you on a personal level. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary and they even gave us a free bottle of wine to celebrate. Greeted us by name both coming and going. The location was on the west side of Minneapolis, far from the convention in St. Paul, which we approved. It is easily accessible to both I94 and I69 for getting around.

Attractive inside. Hotel room seemed dirty and bathroom poorly lit. The hotel seemed great. I just felt the room I stayed in needed to be upgraded like the rest of the hotel had been.

The hotel is beatiful but it stops there. The cordless phone was dead, the A/C wouldn't cool down for 12 hours and the upgraded room which was 25/night more to get the refrigerator forced us to sleep on a sofa bed that was horrible and then the refrigerator temperature adjustment was broken and our food spoiled anyway. For the premium price I would go elsewhere until they pay attention to the details. Also, the pool flooring is so slick you can hardly walk without falling - not a good pool for children or adults

I've stayed here before. It was convenient to downtown as well as the northwest suburbs of Mps. Short drive there is Arbor Lakes Mall as well as a large variety of restaraunts.

Friendly staff, very clean, nice bar and game room, love the shuttle bus! The seafood buffet Saturday night. No CD/DVD player in room. I would definitely stay there again and will recommend it to others.

Loved the suite, with a livingroom area. The bathroom was a bit dated and the pillows were very uncomfortable. Overall, we thought this hotel was great for the price! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was pretty clean--noticed crumbs on the carpet in the livingroom area.

Prime rib buffet. Nothing around the area the hotel is in. The hotel was very nice, well worth the price. The all u can eat seafood buffet on Friday night and the all you can eat prime rib buffet on Saturday night was the best ever, worth every penny. I like that the hotel was in a quiet part of town for traffic but did not like no gas stations or stores around it. Would stay there again.

Quality; friendly, helpful staff; in-room whirlpool bath. Could have more places to hang things in bathroom. I'm looking forward to the next time we stay there!

The suites gave us more space. We had a bad experience. No tub. No hangers in the closet. No tissues. On our 3rd day, housekeeping did not clean our room, then lied and said that they did when we reported it. Management said they would have someone call us to explain and would make it right. There has been no call or follow up.

Free parking. Bar wait staff was not attentive, bad service. Bar out of product, no beer on tap. Stayed here for two days on business. Hotel is a bit dated but for the most part clean and acceptable. Only noticeable exception to the cleanliness was my bathroom had somebody else's hair all over the floor. This hotel has the slowest elevators I've ever seen. I stayed at the top floor (8), and the wait for the elevator each morning was several minutes. Don't waste your money at the bar. It is expensive and the bartenders have little or no experience with bartending. There was no beer on tap (even though there are taps). Excuse was they're broken. Service in the bar was very disappointing, both times I went in there. The hotel is ok if you're on business, but I wouldn't recommend it for a family on vacation.

The common areas are beautiful. The Jacuzzi was not clean. The Northland was a beautiful until we got to our room, then it was rather lackluster. The lighting in the bathroom was poor and the Jacuzzi was dirty. Once I cleaned it and brought in a lamp from the bedroom, it was a nice place to read and relax.
