Everything at the hotel was great. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and very clean. The only down side was that the breakfast room couldn't handle all the guests at the one time. The space was smallish, and it was difficult getting everything for the free breakfast and finding a spot. If you had gone in earlier, I am sure it would not have been a problem. You are close to the city and buses, and all the touristy things in the area. Buy a bus pass and travel all day for only $9. A great bargain.

I've never had better service from hotel personnel. They were knowlegeable about the area and helped me obtain tranportation wherever I need to go. Close to Capilino bridge which we walked to. Grouse Mountian can take a bus. Stanley Park take a bus or taxi. We spent three days there. The maid service was great. we did not use the Amenities at the Hotel, therefore I cannot rate them.

Small restaurant for continental breakfast was not very clean, should service the area more frequently, only had margarine for the waffles!

Excellent service from night clerk - a very thoughtful young man!

This motel is not nice.. Transients living in the motel with their barking dogs. Rooms are dingy and old. Absolutely disgusting.

This hotel was good for the price and location. It was very close to downtown and a convient location for tourist attractions. The pool was small and the continental breakfast was minimal but the rooms were clean. For the price, it was just what we were looking for, but dont expect anything fancy.

The location was close to the suspension bridge and to the sea to sky highway which were two things we were intending to see. Breakfast was okay, if you did not want the waffles, there was little else to chose from. Clean and decent size for the room.

The hotel is very convenient to downtown without the cost. We got our room for $80/night (5 night stay) and free parking. Any of the downtown hotels were $125+ plus $20/day parking. The hotel is literally a 10 min drive from downtown (if the bridge isn't backed up). Clean but not spotless, older with some updates, although the staff were very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was just what you expect, but if you just want a waffle or cereal before you take off for the day, free is good. We also had a fridge in the room so we could store "doggie" bags from expensive dining and snacks for our day trips. Overall, if you need a bed, bath and TV while you explore Vancouver, this was a very good value.

The beds were outstanding, very comfortable. The room had more than one mirror which was good for us because there were three woman in my group. The toilet stopped up on us two times, very embarrassing to have to call the front desk. I will use this hotel again.

This hotel is "ok" if you're on a tight budget or just don't care to pay for a higher-end hotel. The room was clean, but smelled like people had smoked in it, even though it was a non-smoking room. Also, the heater unit was incredible noisy. The hotel is near a busy road and the traffic is loud. On the bright side, the free breakfast is good and includes cereals, real waffles, and some other stuff. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, I personally pefer a nicer place and probably wouldn't stay there again.

Room was very small, but we didn't spend much time there. Very poor ventilation and there was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. Beds were hard as rocks, so if you like sleeping on boards, you're in for a treat!! No wireless available in the rooms, but they have a computer in the lobby you can use. You can also buy an ether net cable for 5.00 and hook up in your room. Continental breakfast consisted of make your own waffles, toast or cereal. Coffee was WEAK!!! The room had a microwave and fridge...good for those left overs from Earls. The room also had a recycle can next to the trash can...that was cool!! Earls restaraunt was wonderful...I highly recommend it. I also highly recommend the Capillano Suspension Bridge...very cool and beautiful. And, if you can bear the cold nights, a personal walking ghost tour downtown was very informative and fun. The space museum was a great place to spend a day too.

I was in town for a workshop and this was the closest hotel. I would not stay there again for the following reasons...It had a slightly run down appearance, there was no water pressure and the hot water ran out very quickly. In addition the hair dryer did not work and the coffee maker looked like it had not been cleaned any time recently. The staff however, were quite friendly.

The room was clean. Parking was tight not a lot of room and they would not give me a reciept. The hotel was ok for the price. The sheets were 400 thred count. Free internet but no WiFi.

Needs some wi-fi, but other than that it's a nice little hotel. It was quiet, a block from a DeDutch (YUM), and a great value. The room was nice and clean. While it was sometimes a bit trafficky trying to get from North Vancouver to the city center on the Lion's Gate Bridge, it wasn't that bad No more than 5 minutes from Stanley Park, a little mall, restaurants... a nice little place.

just north of Stanley park, within a 10 min bus ride to downtown, good part of town, everthing within walking distance (food, rental car, mall, info booth)

It was conveniently located for my purposes. The room was unattractive and both myself and my wife developed sinus congestion whenever in the room.

Excellent hotel, newer than all the other hotels around. Perfect for travellers from the States going further North BC or en-route to Whistler. Right by sea to sky highway exit 14, only 15mins to the Ferry to the island. Great location, great service. Attractions like Suspension bridge and Grouse Mountain and also Stanley Park all close by. Perfect for midway stop or gateway into Vancouver downtown. Lots of restaurants right in the Rark Royal and Village shopping center which is only one block away. The hotel even gives out free voucher for the Fitness World which has indoor swimming pool and a full gym. Breakfast in the morning is surprisingly good. Besides regular continental, they also have waffle machines, eggs and apple. Free parking and free high speed internet is a bonus. Great for business traveller like me. Strongly recommend.

My room worked well as a home-base for hiking the trails north of town. The major roads are easy to get to/from the hotel. Breakfast is pretty decent for this kind of hotel, but I'm glad I brought my own cereal. Between Safeway (5-10 minutes drive) and the in-room fridge, I was able to eat keep a good stock of food ready for breakfast and lunch.

Large rooms, easy to sleep for two adults/2 children. Good free breakfast. AC not efficient enough to keep room cool. Too much road noise. Good & clean family friendly hotel in convenient location. Nice staff and easy to park and lots of nearby restaurants in driving distance. Good for cheap family hotel option.
