This hotel is suitable for low budget travellers. (03/06 HT) It is a modern, 10-storey brown building facing Yasukuni Ave. The hotel is located on the east side of Tokyo, Asakusabashi area. This area is well known as an old cloth-wholesaler town. It provides an easy access to places such as, Asakusa, Akihabara, and Nihonbashi, all within 5 minutes by subway. Also Ginza, Shimbashi and Ueno are located within a 10-minute train ride. C4 exit of Bakurocho Station on JR Sobu Kaisoku Line is just a minute walk away, where express trains from Narita Airport take 80 minutes and stop every hour from morning till night. Asakusabashi Station on Subway Asakusa Line and JR Sobu Line is also within 4 minutes? walk.

i thought this hotel was brilliant, the room was small but what do you really need a hotel room for - just a place to sleep right? it was fully air conditioned and has its own bathroom. the hotel is situated right in front of the C4 exit from JR Bakurocho station which is only two stops away from Tokyo station and there are also another JR station, an internet cafe and plenty of convinience stores all close by so the location is perfect. they have a nice restaurant next door which you can get into through a door in the main reception which offers an english menu (they have a variety of japanese and some english dishes on the menu - or at least things westerners would be more accustomed to) and the guys i spoke to behind reception all spoke english. personally i felt this hotel was excellent value for money. i give them 11/10 and would definately stay at nihonbashi villa if im in tokyo again!

Very close to station. Service is OK. A good hotel just to sleep in at night and go out during daytime. The smoking room smells really bad as there is no window in some rooms. I was put in a smoking room and quickly ask to be moved to non-smoking as I initially requested.

Convenient location makes up for the small room. Good restaurant connected to lobby. Two things that may be drawbacks for some, all rooms are smoking, so they all smell a bit smoky. Check out time is 10 am. Early check out might not be a problem for business travelers, more concerning for them...no daily laundry service. Only available twice a week and it takes three days to get your clothes back. I will definitely stay here again, as it is convenient to JR and to Metro.
