The Nichols Inn, newly constructed in May of 2005, is located in Red Wing, Minnesota. Our city offers antique specialty shops in our historic downtown district or in the adjacent Pottery Mall. The beautiful Cannon Valley bike trail access is just down the street from the hotel. Red Wing also has a casino just 15 minutes from our property. This new property is of cement block construction to ensure a quiet room. All of our rooms have premium beds,irons and ironing boards and 27"-32" televisions. We also have free high-speed wireless internet access.

They had the best staff I have ever had for a hotel yet! They were awesome. I wish the place would have a pool.

My mother, sister and I stayed overnight at Nichols Inn and were very pleased with the cleanliness, convenience, friendliness, excellent continental breakfast and convenience. I would definately stay there again. They provided Bath and Body complimentary soaps and shampoos. Everything was in working order with ample towels. We were very confortable

My wife and I stayed at the Nichols Inn Red Wing for a night in August 2008. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The hotel had been recently remodeled and was very nice. Entry, commons area, and rooms were all tastefully decorated and very clean. The complimentary continental breakfast was very good with lots of good food to choose from. While there was no pool or other amenities that would make the hotel more family friendly, the price was right and everything was as it should be.

The Nichols Inn was a little tricky to find because we only saw one sign facing one direction on the outside of the building. In the middle of the week there were not very many people staying there which was fine with us as it was very quiet and there were no lines at check in or check out. Didn't care about whether there was a pool and preferred not to pay for one I wasn't going to use. Didn't care if it had a restaurant as we planned to eat elsewhere anyway. Would prefer some hardboiled eggs at the breakfast bar. Didn't have much in the way of fruit. Appreciated the clean room and abundance of towels. The washcloths especially were a nice size and thickness. Not too thick and not too thin.

We were pleasantly suprised by the clean,quiet accomadations. A handy breakfast is available and the lack pools etc make the hotel almost adults only. A nice lobby and friendly staff made check-in painless. I will stay there again.

the room was excellent: large, clean,good tv,quiet, good bathroom, coffe maker and small refrigerator. free newspaper and continental breakfast. no dining room; therefore you have to go out to eat dinner and lunch

The Nichols Inn is perfect! It is brand new and even has an elevator. The breakfast area was roomy and had a flat screen tv. The rooms were so nicely decorated, the suites were roomy and had great kitchen facilities. It is very quiet and located close to the pottery shops. We will be back."

This is a new Inn. Very clean, everything worked. Free wireless connectivity. The staff really extend themselves. I left my supplements in the room and they tracked me down through a local relative to let me know I could pick them up at the front desk. Also, I was 20 minutes late for breakfast and the staff on duty saw to it that I got somehting to eat. The price is very reasonable. I'll stay there again.

The Nichols Inn of Redwing was a wonderful hotel for our needs. For a small hotel it had great ammenities: Comfortable beds in very clean rooms. Fluffy towels and Bath and Beauty soaps. Their continental breakfast includes waffles that you cook yourself. Three adults stayed in the room and I did not feel cramped. It is conveniently located on a major highway coming into the city. The staff of the hotel were also very pleasant and helpful. I will definately stay at the Nichols Inn again.
