Reception understaffed. As in many hotels in Brussels - by the way, capital of Belgium - you have to be very lucky to find someone at the reception speaking Dutch - by the way, most spoken language in Belgium. At the restaurant, during breakfast, very loud and indiscreet personel, arguing about internal problems. Level of one of the popular "brown cafés" of Brussels, not of a 4 star hotel. Avoid the rooms on the front of the hotel, the Chaussée de Charleroi beeing VERY loud.

Weekend BreakThe room was quite small but very clean and with modern fittings etc. The front desk staff were always very helpful and seemed to go out of their way. Shower tended to flood a bit onto the bathroom floor but never a real problem...

Very good location and value for the money. Only negative point is the price of the breakfast (19 EUR!!!). I would return there without hesitation for the same price.

not impressed by the breakfast...breakfast was poor especially they tried to charge us 42 Euros for it... we did not pay it in the end... 42 Euros a a rip off and they would better change this practice.

An excellent hotel for both Gare du Midi & the city centre, but it really isnt just a few minutes walk from the Gare du midi - it took me much longer although the weather was bad and the google map not great. Get a metro - just 3 stops and 5 mins to Louise. (line2)Staff excellent - not cheap this hotel for what it is- rooms high standard but very small.Overall the position and staff \ atmosphere mean I will be retuning but at 179E pn it should at least have provided some breakfast. The bar \ restuarant aera is very small - dont plan meetings there!

We did not have heating in the RoomThe heating in the room was not working and it was a cold night on the 31st December 2008 - in the end we only got a heater at 3AM in the morning because they had to bring one from another NH Hoteles after we call 10 times for this to happen.

Review NH Brussels City CentreThe NH hotels are a big chain and are usually very nice. As I got a good price, the value for money was excellent on this hotel, in the centre of Brussels.

Weekend BreakWell situated and good base for city visit. Food supermarket nearby. Small car park so book ahead. We arrived in Saturday shopping peak traffic - best avoided!

Hotel was very easy to get to from the eurostar,clean well presented and friendly. The only let down for us was the tv programs in English either sport or news couldnt even pay to view to watch a film, but would defenitely stay there again.

Nice hotel but everything is small, particularly the crowded breakfast area which for 19euros did not give me a pleasamt feeling Another disappointment was the Wi-Fi. Is is not free as I understood from reading your site The swiss provider charges 22euros / 24h.
