The only thing I did not like, the room did smell like a smoking room. Overall I though the hotel was great for the what we needed it for. The hotel staff, although limited interaction, was extremely friendly. The hotel was clean, which is very important to me.

I love the pool and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful- the location is perfect.

Excellent location on the waterfront, close to restaurants and pubs, the front desk always ready to help you in your concerns. Definitely I come back and I recommend to anybody. The restaurant has live music and a pool table. Only a mile away from the mansions blvd.

the room was dirty ( i also found a large fingernail on the bathroom floor), the pillows looked and felt like rags stuck in a sack, the airconditioning didn't work and while i was told the room was wheelchair acc. it was not! i had to brush my teeth in the toilet cause i couldn't fit my wheelchair in the bathroom. the staff was not friendly or helpful at all. for the price it is worth it to stay at the marriot when i stayed there i had a great stay. oh yah... the lobby smelled like B.O. i will never stay in this dump again it was more like a * a night motel room.

Location, outside deck, friendly staff, allowed to check in and park early. Small bathroom, no counter space, needed new toilet seat, and did not have refrigerator. This hotel is conveniently located in downtown Newport right on the water. It is convenient to shopping and dining out. The outdoor deck is right off the pool with comfortable lounge chairs, fresh towels, and adirondeck chairs. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I called early to ask if we could park before check in time and not only was I allowed to park early, I was allowed to check in early. We used the facility all day and had a wonderful time.

The location was perfect, the service was outstanding, I forgot my phone charger and they called me and mailed it to my home right away. The room service was great and the price was very reasonable.

Hotel was in central Newport, there was no need to use our car, we used the public transportation to get around. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The only thing was the day we left we got a bill for * a day for parking, when we questioned the bill we were told that it was in the information packet and that it was the cheapest parking rate in Newport.

The location was great for our purpose.

Excellent location. Older hotel with paper thin walls. Restaurant on location was disappointing-fortunately there were plenty of others nearby to chose from. Overpriced.

My girlfriends and I chose this hotel since it had a great location and was much cheaper than the other area hotels. It could use some updates in the rooms, but overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

Excellent location right on the harbor. Small rooms and no disclosure of parking fee upon check in.

We chose this property because of its proximately to the local attractions and restaurants. It was great, we could walk everywhere. The rooms seem to have been recently renovated, so overall it looked and felt new and comfortable. Ask for a room on the ground floor facing the marina. It's beautiful and the sunsets are amazing.

We stayed here for one night when the tall ships were in town. Got the room last minute. The price for the room was almost worth the ease of parking with all the traffic and people around. The parking lot is also closed off and guarded 24/7. This hotel is right in the middle of everything in downtown Newport. Had a great area to sit by the harbor too! The room and hotel look was good not great, but overall great place to stay. We only had one problem, our door wouldn't lock one time when we went to leave at night. They replaced the knob in about 20 minutes. Slight inconvenience, but what are ya gonna do.

Excellent location just off Thames. So close to restaurants and actions. Quiet! Room was a bit cramped. Poor view of restaurant rooftop.

The Newport Harbor Inn is well priced and centrally located. The view of the harbor is superb and local attractions are within walking distance. You can set sail on a cruise next door to the hotel. The beds are not the most comfortable and the rooms are not luxury, but they are nicely decorated and do offer anything you would require. The bathrooms have been renovated, but are not top notch either. Overall, I would return to the hotel as the location can not be beat.

Location was great. Lobby was average, not upscale. Over all, it was a pleasant experience. When I called to ask for a water view, I was told it would be $40 more. We chose not to do this. The location of this hotel is fabulous: you can walk to all the stores, boat tours, restaurants great people watching. The lobby was clean but dated.

Location was great and we generally liked the indoor pool area. The room was extremely small andthe air conditioning was awful.

The location is ideal. The front desk staff were the rudest I have encountered at a hotel. The hotel is decent however your experience is not. From the moment you walk in the front door you get a bad feeling from the staff. The are cold, not talkative, not informative and appear to be very unhappy with their profession.

Location was very good andclose to everything and on the water.

Location. Rooms not ready at check in; small bedrooms. Rooms were not ready at check-in. Bathrooms were very small.
