Would recommend for anyone, especially off season due to location. All areas seemed pleasant and redone. Great deal for the money.

With a great view of the ocean across the street this recently renovated historic hotel has no real obvious signs of its glorious past beyond it's facade. This hotel has so much potential but the staff is apathetic, the bar was out of wine and the bartender was also the front desk clerk. Go figure.

The hotel is awful. The room's dirty. the linen's dirty. the location of the hotel is right next to a major street. very very noisy. the toilet was clogged/stop up, when I reported this to the front desk she gave me the plumper and asked me to fix the toilet my self.

On a scale of one to ten it would only get a four. It was not exceptionally clean. slow drains in the bathroom, room didn't get made up until very late afternoon.

Older property across the street from the beach. Rooms vary in size and view. Few amenities, few updates (no computer access), nice continental buffet breakfeast, away from downtown Newport, but convenient, helpful staff. Two star property.
