I really enjoyed the casino which also offered some dining options that were less expensive but were not quite fast food.

enjoyed my stay, except for the ( phone ) i was charged $3.00 per day for a phone i only used to call another room in the hotel,, why ????? if your going to charge for this phone , why don't you jiust include it in the price of the room , instead of adding it at the end of my stay ..... not cool........

We decided to spend our 40th anniversary in Las Vegas and chose New York New York for its location. It is located within walking distance of three other casinos that are all MGM Mirage properties and you can use your Players Club card in all of them. From check in to check out, the staff was very friendly and helpful including our host, Barbara D.Our room was on the 12th floor and was very comfortable, neat and clean. We had a problem with the hair dryer.I called housekeeping and within 10 minutes they were at our door and installed a new dryer. The construction was not a distraction as we ate breakfast across from the site. We had excellent dinners at Gallaghers and Nine Fine Irishmen and breakfast at IL Fornaio. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful with the menu selections. We would recommend New York New York for its location, staff and its value.

Customer service was very helpful and upgraded room for conveniences requested. Late night food (pizza place) was disgusting. Very pleased with the overall experience of the staff and the room. Room was extremely comfortable and large, the bathroom was nice and clean.

The New York New York Hotel Las Vegas was a great place to stay and there was plenty to see and do all around us. The buffett breakfast for 12.99 every morning was excallent and the staff were excellent. However, if you book for a room with a view of the strip that is what I would expect to get and not have to grovel to ask for it. That was the disappointment. However, I believe that that is the norm for internetional visitors as everything seems to be set up for locals from all the greeter we met in the hotel. I dare say I will stay at a different hotel next time in LV.

If you are looking to stay in a great location on the strip then look no further. The casino was nice and there was so much to do. My friend and I went on a "girls" trip and had a great time. From the roller coaster, spa, Zumanity show, piano bar, and the variety of restaurants we stayed very busy. The hotel is located very close to great shopping (Inside Planet Hollywood was a lot of great shops) as well. We had a great time playing the table games..many of the dealers were personable making it more fun to play. And the slots paid well. My only complaint was the bed. We stayed in the Park Avenue room with two queens and it was roomy with a very nice bathroom but the beds were terrible with hard pillows. I had a hard time sleeping and you could hear the roller coaster at night.

We picked the NY-NY at random since it looked like a fun place and was supposedly centrally located. When we checked in they had us actually late by a day and had charged us for a non-cancellation fee. We had just come from camping in the bottom of the Grand Canyon, 10 mile hike and a 200 mile drive so we were in no mood to argue with the staff. We paid with our debit card and they asked us if we wanted to open a tab on the card so we could charge meals to the room, we agreed. The next night we ate at one of their overprice eaterys and went to charge our meal and was told we were not authorized to charge it. Good thing we had cash. Back to the front desk to get it straightened out. Next we tried to use their room internet at 14.00 per day. Again trouble and we had to call the desk and get it activated. Since we were carrying our laptop at time of check-in and told them we wanted internet, we were delayed again. Tried to use their gym...*.00 per day per person. Went to their inhouse store to buy a bottle of water. *.00 for a small and 4.50 for a medium bottle of Aquafina water. What a rip-off. Also avoid the crew outside the bottom of the escalater from the parking garage....they are trying to sell you a time share. We were suckered in for about 3 mins before we figured out were they were headed. We made the mistake about asking about show. Finally at check out they had us checking out a day later and again had to engauge the manager to get it sorted out.

The hotel's location was very good for us. We went for the UFC fan expo which was located in a hotel three doors down from us. We saw a Zumanity at NY NY. It was a really good show. I think it is a must see for couples. The casino are was very nice, so much to do. If you are looking to take the whole family, the hotel definitly has things for the kids to do.

Location. Problems with room, and unhelpful or attentive staff. Very displeased. We checked-in at approximately 5:50 pm, and were checked-out within an hour. The hotel staff was rude, unhelpful, and very inattentive to a problem we had with the lights in the room. The bathroom lights would not work. Bed was half made. Even though we prepaid we would have rather stayed somewhere else and pay again.

This is a wonderful hotel with lots of great stuff to do. The pool area is not very large but there is a nice pool bar so that is great. I would definately recommend this hotel to stay at but dont expect much out of Coyote Ugly it is a complete joke and the girls dont dance on the bar like the original in New York City. The only dowfalls to this hotel is the check in and out process takes way too long and there are way too many Tahati-Village time share people trying to get you to take a tour. There are many places inside the hotel to eat at and are very price appropriate, there is a real New York city feel inside this hotel and restaurants.

We had the best trip. The hotel is amazing. The best by far that we went into on the strip. We ended up spending a lot of time right in our hotel. There was so much to do and see right there. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who will listen to me.
