Fontani di Otani: * An eloquent Continental restaurant offering Italian and French cuisine. Serving lunch and dinner in a formal, yet romantic setting. The service is non-intrusive and the food is exceptional.
Harborland Cafe: The Sky Lounge, on the 17th floor, has a wonderful view of the Rokko Mountain. The ceiling lights up, during the cocktail hour, with the image of star-lights. The Cafe offers a wide variety of lunch sets, coffee, cocktails, drinks. * Hours 11:30am to 11:00pm
Kitano-cho: An area north of the hotel. The area includes Ijin-kan - consisting of old foreign houses, and Herb-en - an amusement park with displays of worldwide herbs. This park also has a cable car which leads to the Observatory with a gorgeous view of Kobe. Kitano-cho can be reached by taking the city-loop (Amusement bus) which stops at fifteen major tourist spots in Kobe.
Kobe Harborland: A multi-plex shopping and business area - the most popular recreational area in Kobe. Stores, restuarants, movie theaters, event and concert halls, arcades and business offices. The hotel is located in the heart of Harborland.
Meriken-Park: A beautiful park adjacent to Kobe Pier. It includes the Port Tower where one has a wonderful view of Kobe from the Observatory. Located close to China Town, just a further three minute walk south from Motomachi Station.
Nankin-Machi: China Town containing restaurants, from light snacks to full course dinners, shops and supermarkets. China Town can be reached by the train. Take the JR train from Kobe Station (two minute walk via underground shopping arcade), one stop east to Motomachi Station (three minutes). From Motomachi Station it is a five minute walk south.
Pearl Bridge: The world's longest suspension bridge. Located approximately ten minutes by train from the hotel.
Rokko: Japanese teppan-yaki served on the 17th floor with views of the mountains and city. Serving lunch and dinner.
Sannomiya: The main downtown area of Kobe located five minutes by train from JR Kobe, two stops east to Sannomiya Station.
