You are on the Vieux-Port, Quai des Belges the sea is on your back and the hotel is in front of you on the Gabriel Péri square(pedestrian area).To reach it by car, turn on the 1st street on your right (?rue des Augustins? ? the street which is located before the Church) at the end of this street, you can park on the right on the site which is intend to unload your luggages.

overall disappointingWe booked this hotel for 5 nights, but on arrival, seeing that our room was in the attic, with the lift stopping on the floor below - we decided to look into leaving the following day, but as the hotel needed 48 hours notice, we eventually stayed for 4 nights.Overall we found the staff pleasant, but not particularly well trained. the small reception area, (with room for only one staff), also served as their switchboard and unfortunately incoming phone calls took precedent over the queue of hotel clients.The room itself could have been nice, but there was a general negligence about the cleaning, in particular the several squashed mosquitos that we found on the wall on our last night.Its probably fair to add that we found Marseille itself dirty and disappointing, so this hotel is probably the "norm". Either way we won't be back!!

The view from this hotel is spectacular. At night you can see street preformers from the terrace, a beatiful sunset, and a cloud covered moon that seems so close you can touch.

The thematic rooms are really nice. I was upgraded on the first night to a wonderful room (504) with a huge terrace and the most wonderful view of the Old Port.

New Hotel Vieux Port in Marseilles suited our purpose very well . We had a large room overlooking the port, not all the rooms do so make sure you have one, and were very close to the restaurants alongside the port.

Lovely hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Hotel impossible to find via a car due to Marseilles' notorious one way road system. Also no hotel car parking facilities so be prepared to lug your bags around a bit. Rooms comfy with essential cooling system and nice bath toiletries. But beware the church bells! A varied and abundant continental breakfast.

Staff are very good, although no help given with bags, we had to find the room ourselves. The bathroom was very clean and decor of room pleasant. Tiny room with no view. The location must be noted as first class as the small port was a delight to wander around

What a great Hotel. Fantastic location on the Old Port. The room was nice and big as well as comfortable and clean. My only complaint (although a very minor one) was that the pillows in the room were too hard/big. I had a hire car and found that I was able to park for free in the outside carpark of the Bourse shopping centre (behind the Hotel). I can recommend this Hotel definitely.

This hotel is a real gem. Its location is great - right on the harbour. We had a balcony and could see some of the town and also a bit of the harbour. The church next door rings its bells quite early and that woke us up, but that was all part of the charm. The rooms were clean and decorated with a tasteful North African theme. The hotel staff were very friendly and advised on places to go, what to do, and were very helpful booking us taxis etc. We did not eat here as there are so many cafes and restaurants nearby. There was a very good cafe just outside where we could sit and have breakfast in the morning winter sun. The minibar was well stocked and reasonably priced . The Laterooms rate is much cheaper than the real advertised rates for this hotel. Highly recomended for a weekend stay
