A centrally located hotel offering good value for money.The lovely historic building in the heart of the old city gives a special atmosphere to the hotel, which has pleasant staff and a good standard of accommodation.

the hotel was very interesting, because of the construction, the staff, very friendly. Location is good.

The hotel had alot of character and breakfast in the courtyard was a highlight of the hotel; it was a great way to start the day. The staff were helpful and friendly, even when we arrived late one night from a concert at the Arena!

There is a certain chill in the air here. Either the staff feel they are too chic to be dealing with customers or they believe it is the customers who are privileged to be staying, rather than the hotel to have them. Anyway you rather felt they were uninterested if you were there or not! In a town of narrow streets. they could do with organising some parking and a 'voiturier' service. A complete lack of electrical sockets in the room, unless you moved heavy furniture to find one, is a mistake in this modern day, as is not having a free Wifi service. They need a good shake up and then it would be above average and deserve the premium rating.

Hotel is quite hard to reach by car lying as it does in the centree of town along a one way street with no parking allowed in it! But parking is available at the end of this street (200metres away) in a good secure public car park and so this disadvantage is manageable. The hotel has been modernised around an old historic shell, the essence of which has been retained to give a fascinating contrast of old and new. Great cenbtre for visiting the various sights of Nimes (e.g. Les Arenes) and very convenient for shopping and restauarants. Overall a good place to stay in Mimes.
