| The hotel is in a great location, 5 minutes walk from the Lake on the East (city) side, as well as shops and restaurants. It is 4-star by European standards in my opinion, with big comfortable rooms. The buffet breakfast was disappointing as there was little Western choice and it was cold. The hotel staff try to be helpful but don't speak much English, as in most Chinese hotels. I thought the hotel was very good value as we got a 50% reduction by booking through venere, and I would reccommend it. Finally, I would say to all those travellers complaining about hard beds; if this is a problem don't go to China, they're all like that because that's how the Chinese like it. |
