staying at this place has been the worst place i have ever been.I use the tour company quite a lot but this trip has been a let down from them. hotel is basic/ on entry nice lobby .dinning room o.k bar o.k. but once inside what a eyeopening change/// passage ways smell disgusting.rooms are no better, mould all over the bathroom musty smelling and very smokey odour in the room.not recommended at all

The New Astoria Ostend is more like a model lodging house than a hotel,the rooms were worse than shabby the toilets were lacking in cleanliness with the toilet seat falling off the pan, shower water temperature uncontrollable and tiling black with mould, towel rail falling off the wall and decor dingy. In the restaurant the meals were so poor it would have prisoners calling their human rights lawyer,basic would be an overstatement.

This hotel is the worst hotel I've stayed in Ostend and I've been four times food was good staff were very nice but hotel was awful I've never been told not to drink the water before and the decor left a lot to the imagination also a smell about in places musty damp smell also in my room wont be staying there again.
