We booked a double room with sea view and upon arrival were given a twin room. When questioned as to why we couldnt have a double room reception advised that the double beds were far too small for 2 people to sleep in and a twin was far better. In the end we have to pay more to be upgraded to a room which had a bed that could sleep a couple. Clearly this is a con and misleading. The hotel ran out of hot water 2 out of the 4 days we stayed and we had to wait 30-1hr for it to come back on. The service in the restaurant is slow and rude. There are cats everywhere who I witnessed licking a tea pot and cat chuck in the floor of a restaurant, luckily not being used at that time. The breakfast outdoor terrace is overrun by wasps that made it more pleasant to eat inside. The hotel was advertising sushi and nightly functions that did not happen, especially as the sushi chef had quit. This hotel says its 4 stars but operates more like 2. I could not recommend it less.

For $85/night our room had a balcony and great views of the ocean. The bus to old town costs 8 kuna if you buy a ticket at front desk. It's only a 2 min. walk from hotel and 10 min. ride into old town-very easy even in heels. $15 cab ride if you miss the last bus at 12am. Great breakfast. Friendly/helpful staff. No beach, but nice lounge chairs and pool overlooking the Adriatic. I usually stay in 5 star hotels and this was surprisingly good for the price and location on the water. I travel every month to a new city and this hotel far exceeded my expectations for value and ease of location.

The Hotel had fabulous views from my bedroom window, very clean alsofriendly staff . The buffet breakfast had a very good choice also the evening buffet. There was a very good bus service outside the hotel and 15mins brought us into the town. I would highly recommend this hotel and a visit to this city is a must.

The location of this hotel ia amazing as is the view from the terrace for breakfast. It is very good value and has exceptional facilities and decor for it's 3 star rating

An excellent hotel with extremely helpful staff. Fantastic views from the restaurant terrace, the pool area and the bedroom balconies. Rooms very well fitted out and equipped. Buffet breakfast fresh and plenty of choice every morning. A very convenient shuttle bus (no 6) runs from the hotel to the old town every 10 mins. Tickets can be bought from Hotel reception. All in all this was more like a 4 * hotel.
