The staff was friendly and helpful, some rooms didn't have a kettle or mircowave but if you ask for one they will supply you with them. Also If you don't like the room allocated, you can asked to be moved to a other room. Just one negative, they could put more entertainment on for guests who don't want to go out. Very nice, I would recommend this hotel.

We booked the trip and hotel very last minute when we just needed to get out of New York for a few days. We found a GREAT deal on the Beach Club Condos ($*/night!!!) and decided to brave it. We figured, even if the room sucked we'd be on the beach, so who cares? The NBCC was WAY beyond my expectations. The room was clean, had a fridge, a decent amount of hot water (about 15 minutes worth, just long enough for a decent shower) and the condos really are right on the beach. The staff was very nice and friendly. The beach space was nice and clean, had plastic beach chairs for occupant use, several trees with nice shade (if you burn like me!), and was complete with a bar (where they make fancy and affordable drinks with real fruit!) One of the nicest parts of our stay was getting to know some of the locals that work at the small shops on the beach next to the Condos. Dean Brown, who owned one of the few shops I saw where the items were made by a local artist (not China and then shipped there). In fact, the artist himself was there working on his carvings most days we were there. In addition, Dean was friendly, not too pushy and extremely easy and nice to talk to. Unfortunately, the economic conditions in Negril have made many of the locals very aggressive salesman, but Dean somehow finds a way to remain a gentleman. Another lovely local we met was X, who works for the scuba/snorkeling services at NBCC. We went for a morning scuba session with him where we had a great time (it was also very affordable at $*/person). All-in-all, Jamaica can be tough, but we enjoyed ourselves immensely!

A very old, well kept property on the beach with loads of character. If you are unlucky to get a room in fron. Take ear plugs and head band to wear at night. It helps a lot. Bedding is not changed daily just made up, so takesome spray Lysol or Fabreez to spray on sheets. Take a beach float to put on the hard plastic lounge chairs. Take your own toiletries, nothing is provided. Take your own beach towels. The town is a ten minute walk with a supermarket. Restaurants up and down the beachand also across the street. My week here consisted ofno shoes, bathing suits and shorts. Plenty of water sports and vendors selling everything from fruits and meat patties, jerk pork, bread fruit just watch and listen they all come to you. Its a great place for younge families and retirees ENJOY!!!

Based on the length of my stay, location, and price (very reasonable) - I can't complain too badly but I would have a hard time recommending NBC to my friends. The room was spacious and had a new a/c & satellite television. Good hot water for showers. Beds were comfortable enough but if you are looking for modern amenities that's about it. Saw ants and a waterbug at the end of my three days. Cheap, plastic furniture on the terrace that will break if you sit too hard. Lots of steps -not really friendly for the disabled or kids. Unfinished renovations - tiling, painting, etc. No Wi-fi. The spring breakers screaming at 3:30 am made me feel like my walls were made of paper and lock on the front door could have been picked by a 2 year old. I called for the entryway light to be changed in my room and no one came after an hour. When I went to the front desk no one could find the maintenance guy - so I ended up changing it myself! The front desk staff did not seem knowledgable or helpful and the lobby was dark & cramped. The best part was the beach which was my main reason for coming & it was steps from my room. The security staff on the beach was friendly & helpful- X really helped me get around and made great recommendations to get the most out of my trip. But all in all, particularly as a single female traveler I wouldn't recommend for more than a few nights. My next trip will be longer and I will be staying elsewhere.

I've been to Jamaica several times. I've stayed at The Beach Club Condo three times. I kept going back because it's usually clean, quite and safe. This time around I had to change the room I was assigned becuase it was down right filthy and dingy looking. The second room was clean and in better condition. The room had a lamp with no light blub, the balcony had no light bulb there was a phone with out a phone cord. Actually there was no wall jack to even plug in a phone. The toilet over flowed. I waited so long for a mop I had to get the mop myself. I waited several hours for a Bulb for the balcony I took a blub out of the ceiling light and fixed teh balcony light myself. I had to ask them to spray the room because I had big flying cockroaches. YUCK!!!! I should get paid for my work there. No sure I would stay again unless they promised to go back to their original standards.

The hotel was nice but the bed was hard ,you could hear everything that was going on in the hallway and the patio. The room was invaded by ants by the middle of my stay and I saw a cockroach in my room on my last day there. The staff was good no complaint about them at all.

at first i was really upset because when we got there the rooms looked nothing like it did on the site... and ontop of that they had no free breakfast .. just a resturant and bar on the beach.. that u have to pay for. but as time passes.. u get comfortable.. it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be.. i had a wonderful time.. i do recommend this place to others. for the price i paid.. it was worth it.

Their "garden view" rooms FACE the road - you hear traffic, honking horns, and music ALL NIGHT. The sheets were not changed the entire time we were there. The walls were cracking. There was mold in the bathroom. The air conditioner rattled and made the window panes vibrate. When I asked if they could either fix the AC or move us to a new room, they didn't know if they had other rooms available and the AC was never fixed - Even after asking on 3 different occasions. The pool reeks of Chlorox bleach. The front desk staff is not helpful and barely polite. If you own a time share here - I'm sure its completely different. Even if you don't have a lot to spend - go elsewhere! On the upside - the beach is very wide and long compared to other resorts. You can walk to the Round-about easily.

Overall, we were dissatisfied with our stay. Our biggest complaint with the room was the extremely large roaches that we had to contend with every day. There was a hole in the bathroom floor and we could see the roaches crawling in from this hole. We were thankful that we were out of the room most of the time because it was extremely difficult dealing with the roaches. My biggest complaint about your hotel though is the security guard at the front gate. We had met some locals and became friends with them so they visited us at the hotel. I had checked the visitors in during our stay with no problems, except for the last night. I had checked my visitor in and had been on the beach most of the day. We left to get dinner and upon returning to the hotel I was shocked at the response of the security guard. He immediately starting yelling at my visitor when we got out of the taxi. They exchanged words and I finally went over to see what was going on. The guard told me he had to sign in and I replied that I had already signed him in. He then responded that "he was on duty now and he needed to sign in again". I said that was fine I would sign him in. The guard said he had to have ID and I told him they had not requested it all the other times I had signed him in. He then replied it was a new policy. My friend left to get his ID and called me upon returning. The guard was still very rude and did not want to sign him in. He finally agreed to sign him in but told me he had to leave within 15 minutes and insisted on keeping his ID. We then went swimming and tried to enjoy my last night in Jamaica. At one point the beach security guard approached us with my friend's ID and said the other security guard told him my friend had refused to sign in. I questioned how he got the ID if he refused to sign in. I told the beach security guard I was very unhappy with the way I was being treated as a paying guest of the hotel and was unhappy with the way my guest was being treated. He indicat

This hotel was a complete dissapointment, it also changed its name and ownership. I checked in, looked at the rooms and checked out, later people told us that everyone who goes there leaves. Pls send my money back. I checked in at The Palms, which was an excellent hotel with renovated rooms, hand made furniture, very romantic and above all it has a great restaurant with a very creative chef, tried everything on the menu, it was wonderful, it made my vacation! Its location was fantastic, and their Jazz night outstanding.

We have stayed at this resort 3 times and also have a timeshare there. It is a good value for the money. The location is great. On the beach and a short walk to anywhere, even downtown. The staff has always been very friendly and fulfilling our requests has never been a problem. If you are looking for 4 or 5 star service and amenities, this is not the place for you. If you need something that offers all the basic conveniences while staying in paradise-this is for you. We have been visiting Jamaica at least once a year for 21 years and will continue to do so.

I booked this vacation through Orbitz because I thought (from the website) I was getting a CONDO! I confirmed with Orbitz and they said, yes, you have a condo. When we arrived, we got E136 a regular room with two beds(No problem Mon) but the room smelled of Mildew, and the AC leaked ALL on the floor and drapes. I didn't complain. After 1 night the maid came in and said OMG! You need a new room. *--# at the front desk gave me and Hubby a condo room in much better condition. Orbitz has false advertising and Im surprised they havent been sued by now. After moving, Me and hubby had a great vacation in JAMAiCA!

"The staff at the condo was not knowledgeable about the tours and attractions in the area. They had no brochures or pamphlets in the lobby. They were also unfriendly and not very helpful. The bathroom had ants crawling all over and the towels and wash cloths need replacing. The furniture was old and the tile along the baseboard was cracked. The food at the on-premises restaurant was not very good and there was an annoying stray cat coming up to the tables begging for food. If you have extra dollars to spend, I highly recommend that you upgrade your accommodations."

Great location close to town, We had the 1 bedroom studio which was recently updated. Cannot comment on the other rooms. The restaurant on the property was excellent, good service and friendly always willing to satisfy you (Lingah Restaurant) We ate at Sweet Spice, Ixtabi, and Margaritaville and Bourbon Beach. The food at the hotel beat them all, with Margaritaville coming in second. Don't bother changing your money to Jamaicans Dollars. We did better with US Dollars

"This was my second visit and both times I enjoyed myself. The staff was always helpful. The rooms were clean. I've heard about the food at the hotel, but with so many wonderful dining choices in Negril food is the least of your problems. Head right across the street to Fatties. The thing that I like best is NBCC's location. It has a large portion of the beach and it's near the end of the beach. This allows for some quiet time. If you need more excitement, there are many beach bars just steps away. "
