stayed here a week staff was quite friendly BUT resort was on the down hill spin....looked like it once had been someone's dream ...there was no dive shop operating here ,, restaurant food was mediocre and expensive compared to Placencia, flower pots had dead plants etc etc there are no restaurants within walking distance and the bumpy lumpy gravel road into Placencia necessitated a $20 (american) taxi ride if you wanted to eat somewhere better than the resort. I can not recommend it
