Hotel is serviceable... definitely a great central location across from the University. It's a "charming" hotel --meaning old , dated rooms, lumpy beds, $11/day internet charge (wireless in lobby only), restaurant also passable but not anything special -- a bar setting - tight wooden booths with tables full of name carvings (by undergrads?). Parking is across the street at the end of the block -- not great in the rain. All in all - if the location is critical to you this is the place.. if the hotel services and facilities are important -not so much. In my room - TV did not work when I turned it on..engineer came in 5-10 minutes and found a plug disconnected --TV was an early 1990s model-- bathroom was clean but has seen better days-tub/shower was very small...lighting in room consisted of 3 weak lamps -100 W max.

Convenient location right in the center of town. Room was not prepared (no TP!), small and beds weren't that comfortable. I've known this hotel for 30 years. I stayed here for a reunion at my high school. The location is supreme, right in the center of Princeton. The facilities are a little out of date, rooms are small, beds not plush , comfortable like newer luxury hotels, there were simple things like room not being ready right way on check in and no toilet paper! The electronic key also didn't work three times and an attendant needed to come open the door. I know these are small things but first impressions mean everything. Service was fairly friendly and efficient.

I was wary of booking the room because of the affordable price and a bad review from a German visitor, but I was happily surprised at how good it was. Excellent location in the heart of Princeton, walking distance to restaurants and the university, clean room, great price. The place to stay if you are coming to Princeton for business.

Location is great - walking distance from everything. Quality of pillows. It's the only hotel that's walking distance from the station, restaurants and the theater.

I'm travelling a lot, but this hotel was my worst experience so far. Rooms are not especially nice but the best came upon check out when they wanted to charge an outraging * - then reduced to * - for total 66 min of phone calls to Europe (which normally goes for some *). There is no price list in the room - mind that trap !That's their ""uncompromised standard of hospitality"" and customer service !

It was clean. Too many bars surrounding the hotel and no one really cares about noise levels for guests. The hotel's location was perfect if visiting Princeton University, and fairly close to other points of interest. It was easy to get to. The room was very clean. The street noise from the bars and traffic is not tolerable and the hotel staff aren't too willing to help with it. If you don't need sleep stay here.

We booked a guaranteed suite. When we arrived @5:00PM, it took some time for them to find us a room. When we returned the next day @ 5:00PM our room had not been cleaned. After complaining to the manager, we got it done. The bathroom was very small, and the living area was unattractive, especially do to the placement of a CD player on the wall with exposed wires trailing down to the floor.

My wife Cami and I recently had a most memorable visit at the NI. First I would like to commend the manager. She went out of her way to make sure that our stay was a pleasant one. X, who was at the desk when we arrived, looked professional, was courteous and remembered our names as did X. We loved the ambiance, especially the area with the beautiful red leather chairs. The Inn oozes with history, parking was incredible easy, the location could not be better for anyone who has any reason to visit Princeton. Our stay at the Inn made our visit a most memorable one.
