Muy bien situado Lo mejor del hotel ademas de la situación es su personal, que muy atento, profesional y agradable. Nos toco una habitación que daba a un patio pero por el precio (104 euros con desayuno) esta mas que bien para estancias cortas. El bufett del desayuno estupendo. Yo repetiría.

This is a great place to stay for business or for pleasure. I arrived to the airport early and I was at the hotel at 7 AM. I knew from before that the hotel check in starts at 2 PM but the hotel staff was very kind and they checked me in to my room at 7 Am without the wait. Staff is very helpful and ALL the staff at the front desk speaks English as well as Spanish. The hotel is right at the middle of everything, I walked to the three museums and to the Gran Via shopping area and the restaurants are all over the place closer to the hotel. There are 2 Metro staion very close by if you like to use the train and the train can take to and from the airport and will only cost you 2 Euros if you do not like to use a taxi. The room is very clean and the bathroom and shower sre spectacular. I will give a perfect 10 for that hotel.

If you are planning to visit Madrid's most famous sights and view some incredible art, the Hotel Gran Canaraias is the perfect place to stay. Located just a few blocks from the Prado and Reina Sofia, as well as central to several Metro stops including the Atocha train station, this hotel proved to be an excellent starting point for our daily activities. Our room had a lovely bathroom featuring a rain style showerhead and had two robes hanging for us, complete with slippers near the bedside. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, though a bit small, and had two double beds rather than one large one. We didn't ask to switch however (nor did we inquire as to whether this is standard) after we discovered that the beds had posturepedic remotes. There were two closets with several hangers and a small safe, two nightstands with small drawers, a desk and chair, and a long bench. There was also a massive floor-to-ceiling mirror and television system, though the setup did not allow us to plug in any music devices. There were plenty of outlets, but don't forget to bring an adaptor as the hotel had already given all of theirs out after ours blew a fuse on the first day. Although the hotel is directly in sight of the famous Neptune fountain, our room only had a view of the neighboring hotel wall, even though it did not seem busy, so be sure to ask for a room with a nicer view! The breakfast buffet was excellent, featuring freshly baked pastries and breads, just-squeezed orange juice, local cheeses and meats including the sought-after Iberican ham, cereals, eggs, and smoked salmon as well as delicious cafe con leche. There is also a short brunch menu you can order from for an additional charge. Just outside the doors of the hotel is the in-house restaurant's patio, a lovely place to people watch while enjoying a glass of sangria and some sparkling-fresh hake ceviche. Unfortunately we didn't have time to visit the spa, though we did pop into the gym a couple times to work

My daughter and I loved the hotel. We had a beautiful room overlooking the fountain and square. With plenty of room and a beautiful green marble bathroom. The staff was very friendly, most spoke English well and we were within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. I would love to return to this hotel. There was nothing lacking in the hotel or our service.
