The hotel Manin was not fit for purpose and should have been closed whilst heavy duty building work was taking place. Our room was on the ground floor. The only window being covered by hard board/scaffolding/rubble/brick dust /men working just by the window/drilling/hammering from7.00am.all through the day/inside window ledge full of building dust.No handle onwindow ,which was locked-criminal negligence if fire broke out,we would have had no means of escape.Shower dirty/doors didn't close-leaked all over floor-no lock or handle on very dirty bathroom door.Paint and plaster peeling off bedroom walls.Safe did not work and though asking for it to be mended,it was never replaced.Only means of air into room was air conditioning,so room was absolutely freezing.Need I go on-avery expensive holiday became a nightmare.Very glad to get home and warm up.I think that Late rooms.com should thoroughly check the hotels before sending clients to unsuitable ones. This one, Hotel Manin Venice should never have accepted guests whilst in such a turmoil.Sheer Greed.

The Hotel is ideally located at Vaporetto Stop San Angelo. The Breakfast is served in an attractive setting and the selection of food at the buffet was generous. I enjoyed my time at Hotel NH Manin and would certainly visit again.

Great location. Patio outside for breakfast was very nice. Food choices were pleasant. House keeping service was odd, it seemed as though they never completed our daily service. Towels missing, one bed made, the other not. Dirty glasses from our drinks were not removed. Room was clean and quite. Even with these complaints, I would return and recommend this hotel.

Very well equipped hotel, comfortable beds and excellent air conditioning.Standard prices a bit high, but a good deal on our visit made it great value for money.

I have stayed here twice now - an excellent hotel. Friendly staff, generous breakfast, very clean. The map on this website is inaccurate - the hotel is actually on the Grand Canal, about 8 steps from the St Angelo vaporetto stop, so perfect for those unable to walk great distances. I would stay here again.

The junior suite was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast, which was included in the price of the room, consisted of several types of eggs and breakfast meats, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, breads, danishes, and even cake. It was fantastic! The hotel is under construction, so don't expect to hang out on the balcony any time soon.

There is currently scaffolding from top to toe and surrounding the entire building. If we had known this we wouldn't have booked this hotel. As we had a toddler we were placed in a corner room which is typical of most hotels. We couldn't open our windows as we had the air conditioning machines blowing out hot air. The room was very small and we had a brick wall as our view and when we had a shower the water went everywhere because the shower curtain was over the window and not the actual bath. Not sure about the hotels logic on that one. My son slipped several times due to the water being everywhere. I was incredibly angry and unhappy and went and complained and was given a room which was smaller but had a shower with a shower screen so was a little better. The evening hotel staff were very rude and unhelpful. The only good thing was the breakfast where the food was actually topped up and and there was a variety of food. The hotel is in a good quiet location but after the service we received we won't be returning.

We stayed in a junior suite which was lovely but the cheap tacky wardrobe and tv/fridge cabinet looked out of place in such a grand room with the other furniture. One bathroom wall had peeling paint and plaster which was shabby.A bottle of wine, strawberries and pastries was a lovely touch in the room for our arrival to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel is in a great location and very convenient for the water bus but we would recommend a private water taxi from the airport if you want to arrive in style. The hotel was undergoing building work during our stay. We were not disturbed by noise but we were very disappointed that the garden was out of use as we had to have breakfast inside rather than alfresco as advertised. I feel we should have been notified of such a change in advance of our stay.

The hotel is ideally positioned for the tourist - on the Grand Canal bang next to Sant'Angelo waterbus stop, and easy for walking anywhere (take a good map - don't rely on the freebie from the hotel!). The Venere website map locates it a long way inland, so needs correcting. Like Venice itself, the Hotel has a slightly 'tired' feel - especially the lift, which sounded tired too - and the bath/shower screen leaked over the floor. However, overall we thought the hotel was very good indeed (we stayed in a second-floor Junior Suite overlooking the Grand Canal) and we would stay there again. We have already recommended it to some friends.

First time staying in the hotel. Staff very helpfull. Excellent location to explore Venice. Breakfast room small but this did not lead to any difficulties during stay. Bedroom adequate in size but clean & well maintained. Although hotel is very close to water bus stop making it easy to get to the hotel, noise was not an issue. Would definitely return to this hotel.

Room 210 was small, plaster falling on the floor and the bed linens and headboard were very stained. I ask to be moved and was to room 105 possibly as punishment no view at all but the mechanical equipment outside my window. I liked the common areas and the water taxi stop was easy. I just wanted a typical room like what was shown on the web. I am in Italy once a year for 3 weeks, the Manin might see me again, this time I stayed 3 nights.

Excellent location on grand canal , but in a quiet backwater.Great views from rooms overlooking canal.Reception staff great. breakfast dsiasterous: too few tables/staff.One public sitting area by front door and one in the back with newspapers.Plumbing pretty basic. Even in huge bedroom , bathroom was small and skimpy.

We had the 3rd floor balcony room overlooking the grand canal, what a wonderful view, worth the high price. The location was great, could not have been better. The canal rooms are noisy but the view made it all worth it. Breakfast was very good with all the normal stuff. The bar was great and service was excellent. When the dollar improves we'll be back.

The hotel is beautiful, the location perfect. The helpfulness of the staff was below expectations, however. Also, the "bar" is merely the breakfast room. When we ordered sandwiches there one evening, the barteneder apologized as he brought us the food saying, "I'm sorry for the food, I don't really know how to prepare it."

We stayed in a double deluxe room during the holidays. It was a beautiful, spacious room, with marble floors and a view of the Grand Canal if we looked out the windows at an angle. However, it was also a bit loud. I'm not that light of a sleeper, but I still woke up a few times during the night as vaporettos docked at the San Angelo stop right in front of the hotel. Nice location between Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco.
