My family and myself just wanted to get away for 3 days and Cancun was the best place to choose based on the airfare price and hotel price. It was all I expected except for........the weather, it bit hazy, rainy, jajajajaja.

The lobby is beautiful. The room was very nice. The bathroom was nice except for the lighting was very dim and the light fixtures were loose from the ceiling. The shower went intermittenly from warm to scalding hot, or no water pressure. There was construction every day until late in the evening. Not good if youre a late sleeper. The hot tub was broken, and had no sign of being fixed. The health club charged to use. I asked why and they said they were seperate from the hotel. Even though it was in the same building as my room. The beach is completely gone, pool is very nice though. The pictures are very misleading. The positives are the location and the price. has potential but needs work.

Forgot to leave a tip for the maid one day and we only got one towel for 4. Left a tip the following day and we got 4 + 2 extra ones. The bathtub was old, w/ cracked tiles being patched rather than replaced. The drain emits an odor that we had to keep the door shut all the time. Toilet got clogged 3x during the 5 day stay. Called front desk and then again to remind of the problem. 'should have just ask to leave the plunger the 1st time. Had to use lobby toilet and yet 3 of the 6 toilets were also clogged. If you don't have all-inclusive, stay way from the dinner buffet! For 20, you'll get one decent dish. Desserts? A grocery-made cake would taste divine. Otherwise, the place was clean and staff courteous.

Pool and view are absolutely breathtaking. However, there was a lot of rain which caused a lot of condensation inside the room. The roof was also leaking in the lobby. My mom experienced a massive allergy attack which we could only suspect might have been mold (one of her main allergies), although none was visible.

This Hotel has no beach and my girlfriend got food sickness after eating there. The hotel seems to be eternally under renovation. There are many alternatives in Cancun, do yourself a favor and choose another resort. Also, be very cautious of the timeshare sharks at this hotel they are everywhere.

The room was ok with the exception of the fact that there was sawing and hammering outside the window of it early every morning. The front desk staff were not very helpful in getting our room changed when I complained about it. It sure is a good thing for the wonderful travel agency Guarantee! When I called that I got to be on hold for a long time, then I got to speak to two people who had the wonderful solution of telling me to check out to the hotel and then go find my own hotel for the rest of my trip. My advice, go to Cancun but don't stay at the Krystal. I'd leave the Gnome behind too, he's no more helpful than the Krystal staff.

This hotel was located in the perfect spot, close to all the major nightclubs and shopping centers so we never had to take a taxi anywhere. Ocean-view room had a beautiful view. The only dissapointing thing was that there was no beach, but then again none of the hotels did due to the hurricane a few years ago.

I got food sickness after eating breakfast there. We have seen the hotel. It is under renovation...seemingly for a very, very long time. Truly a terrible situation!!!! Stay as far away as you can.

Stay away from this place, as their timeshare offer is a complete fraud. NH Hotels and the Krystal Cancun is being tarnished by people like Mr. X that are using a former football career and his dream team promises to completely mislead people with unethical business practices and lies. He is not part of any dream team that I ever want to be associated with. I am actively trying to cancel this contract and obtain a refund.

The hotel is in a great location, beach front and shops and restaurants are close enough for a brief walk. Beautifull pool area. Although we were only there for a brief period, (too short to complain about the odor and shower water spiling on the floor) the minor problems mentioned before could be fixed and would recommend it as a convenient location.

We enjoyed our stay here, and the all-inclusive was a great deal. El Montero restaurant (which was included in the package) was amazing, and the regular restaurant was delicious for lunch. The location was top notch being so close to all the good clubs and restaurants. The rooms were clean, and although a little outdated, a decent size with comfy beds. One thing about the rooms that worried us was the window situation. They are VERY low and can completely open with just a little wobbly bar across. Not secure enough for children by any means. Be advised of one important thing though. There is NO BEACH in front of the hotel anymore. It was completely washed away by Hurricane Wilma. The pictures on here are deceptive and really should be changed. It's not that big of a deal though, because right across the street there's another beach (playa caracol) that is absolutely beautiful with warm turquoise water. It is on the sheltered side so it is great for swimming, and all beaches here are public.

Hotels proximity was the best part about this vacation. We had no hot water for first two nights, no a/c for the first night. Pregnant staff member at check in was extremely rude. The place was clean. The beaach was small and open to ANYONE. The pool was ok. But if you eat out and like to have the bars and clubs really close this place is ok. The Ambiance villas was sooo much better.

Do NOT attend Krystal timeshare meetings because you love Cancun or want to get free tix to attractions, major mistake! They waste a lot of your precious vacation time trying to sell you timeshares. They promise you the moon and offer you lots of incentives especially when you turn down their initial offers. The next thing you know is you sign the stupid contracts without reading all the fine lines and make sure the things they promise you are in the contracts, and find out the hard way when you get home. For instance they promise everyone they pay for you 2 years RCI membership; in reality they give you the stupid Krystal membership. They also promise to give you x number bonus weeks which you won't find in your contracts, etc. Other than this the hotel is just OK. I found better deals and values with all-inclusive hotels further south (e.g. Solaris)

I will neeevvveeerrr stay at this hotel again and I will not recommend it to anyone, not even my worse enemy. First of all I requested an oceanview room and upon arrival they didn't have any ocean view rooms available and I had to stay in a room with a street view. Second...The room they gave me had a bed that was a sofa bed. I'm 5'11 and my feet were hanging at least 3 inches over the edge of the bed, not to mention that the mattress was so hard I probably would have came out better sleeping on the floor. Third...the walls are so paper thin that you can hear the people in the next room having normal conversations. Not to mention if their televisions are turned up you will never get any rest. When the person directly above our room took a shower or flushed the toilet, we thought the water was coming straight into our room. I think I went during the wrong time because a lot of young spring breakers were there and I wanted to relax, not make constant complaints about the people next door playing their music up loud all times of the night. The "beach" area of the hotel was okay, although it is not situated directly on the beach. I had all inclusive and I don't have any complaints about that. Especially since there is no stove in this "resort" room. The resort is situated in good place, surrounded by restaurants, shopping and clubs.

Everything was wonderful at the hotel except for the faulty air conditioning system that did not de humidify and left the room damp. Towels or bathing suits did not dry. It did a poor job of cooling as well. We loved the pools, the location and the staff was excellent. When I mentioned the air conditioning problem............their reaction was....we know but there is nothing they could do about it.

Started staying here 8 yrs ago. The people in the entire hotel are great & friendly. Everytime we come back the bell-hops & waiter & waitresess remember us & are so nice. Always clean, great pool area & besides hurricann season, the beaches are great. Love staying here because it's in the middle of everything & they make our trip enjoyable everytime.

NH Krystal is located right on the point of the peninsula, so the views are spectacular. The rooms are pretty basic and sparsely furnished. The pools are nice and everything is clean. The hotel is under construction though, so the sound of drills and hammers is pretty constant. The staff does make an effort to sell packages, time-shares, etc. We learned to be very direct about not being interested and they left us alone. I would stay there again, but only in an ocean view room.

The NH Krystal is in a prime location along the club strip in Cancun. The staff was very pleasant and eager to provide assistance. The hotel décor was very nice and the rooms as well as other areas were generally clean and well maintained. The only complaint I had was my room was located on the old side of the hotel and I had severe plumbing issues. For example, my toilet kept clogging and there were leaks throughout my bathroom which left a rank smell in my room. Besides the plumbing issues I was really satisfied with my overall experience at the NH Krystal and I will definitely recommend someone staying there.
