I loved that hotel even before I saw it, Mövenpick one of the best Hotels chain all over the world - And El Gouna gives a point up for it.

this is our third time here at this hotel. The service and staff have upped the quality. IT was very comfortable, large rooms, clean and amazing. The pools, connected beach, staff, and every request was given to us. Upon check-in we asked for late check out, extra bed, upgrade to seaview room, certain location of our room close to the pool, etc. Everything was answered with: With pleasure. We even got a fruit plate for being returnees. The housekeeping staff were amazing. They noticed how many of our family were present, and they brought more towels, soaps, etc. without even us asking. The breakfast buffet is awesome - hot omelette station, beef bacon, dozens of hot foods, crepes, pancakes, boiled eggs, poached eggs, sausages, hash browns, white beans, etc. Fresh-squezed OJ and mango juice, cheeses, breads, and Egyptian Foul (bean) station. Every five minutes someone comes to refill your coffee or tea cup. This is an amazing hotel. Best one (hands down) in this El Gouna area. On top of that, they have an amazing children's program. There is a children's coordinator with daily children's activites, evening mini disco, and many many many other things (most of them are free). The playground here is big and fun with a big trampoline. There are kids pools in every pool area (3 pool areas by the way). There is also a center courtyard piazza where every evening there is a show (like belly dancing, magic, strong man, bingo, live music, etc.) Kids will enjoy it too, because there is a kids brief disco time and sing-along before each evening show. Because we have a 4 year old and a 2 1/2 year old, this is our hotel of choice everytime we come to El Gouna. Enjoy your stay here if you decide to go. Try some internet sites. They are not strict at all. They gave us a free bed and would have even given us another if we wanted. The room is so big it can handle 4 twin beds if we wanted. Great hotel!!!

My family just got back from Movenpick El Gouna. This was our second stay in this hotel within this past year. Our first time was fabulous, but this time was even better. There really is nothing bad to say about this hotel. LOBBY & OVERALL GROUNDS: This hotel is not all centralized. Rooms expand outdoors all over the place. I think to walk from one end to the other, would take 10-15 minutes. However, most of the standard rooms are in one area, and there are 3 different pools, so you'll be near a pool. You have to walk outdoors to get to your room. There are elevators for handicapped, etc. I was also impressed with safety standards of this hotel - hazard signs, plenty of fire extinguishers everywhere. The grounds are very well kept... lots of gardens, flowers, water flowing through like streams everywhere, little bridges over those streams, romantic night walkway lights in the evening, etc. The lobby is big and very well lit - luxurious looking. The hotel also has some man-made lagoons within its compound and beaches next to it, so you can play and sunbathe all along the beaches and lagoons under thatch-roofed huts and nice cushioned lawn chairs. With elevators and ramps, handicap or baby strollers are not a problem at all here. FOR KIDS: This is a great hotel for family with kids. We have two young ones: 3 1/2 and 2 years of age. There is a beautiful playground for them with slides, swings, picnic area, climbing things, and even a trampoline. There is also a volleyball net and lots of other sports related activities offered here. If you have halfboard, they said you can use the Health Club and all its facilities without extra charge. Otherwise, you have to pay or certain activities. There is also a daily kids program that the staff can provide for your kids, so if you are willing to leave your kids for some time in the morning and the afternoon, i think you will have some freedom as parents.
