The location was good, right near the lifts and shops. Rooms were noisey, beds were hard. Staff was barely responsive to our needs, insisting that the parking was an "amenity" not necessarily "free" despite having been questioned directly about this before arriving. They told us the "free parking was in lot 4" which was a very long unsafe walk from the hotel, which had parking underground. this parking was $16 a night. NO MENTION OF THAT IN ALL THE PROMOS OR WHEN WE CALLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Room had full kitchen, fireplace, eating area, separate bedroom, 2 bathrooms We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite which was great.

Hotel is old and needs updating. Elevator always delayed or broken. We paid for parking but were 'fined' for not showing ticket. Hotel seemed like we had Spring break crowd at Christmas.

The pictures of the hotel rooms are rather misleading and were certainly taken with a very wide angle lens. Our studio hotel room turned out to be the size of a postage stamp. Very tight quarters for one adult and two children (14 & 11). The beds were very uncomfortable and the mattresses were very thin. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly and the location is just a short walk from the hotel.

Room had everything you could want for a small group of skiing buddies: great full kitchen, dining area, fireplace and big bathroom. Also perfect walking distance to food, bars and skiing.

Room was large with full suite amenities. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. This hotel is in the center of the village, and it is a wonderful place to enjoy the village atmosphere. It is among the older but very nice hotels in Whistler. Everything was top notch except the bed, which was hard, and the air conditioning was inadequate for the unseasonably warm temperature.

The room wasn't that nice, but we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. This hotel has an amazing location, and the staff was phenominal! They made excellent recommendations about food and were very knowledgable about the area. They were friendly, and made us feel right at home.

Very central location. Clean & tidy and a nice stay while we were there. Staff very helpful.

Our deluxe one bedroom was just large enough to handle our family of four - with two teenage boys. Kitchen was well equipped. Staff very helpful and not stuck up. They really made us feel at home. Outside noise was a bit bothersome, but that is how it is anywhere in Whistler village.

We loved our stay at the Mountainside Lodge. The room was immaculate and decorated and furnished very fashionably. Right next to the slopes and right in the middle of Whistler Village. Perfect location! Front desk staff and housekeeping were very helpful and pleasant. There are lots of places to stay in Whistler, but if we ever go back, we will stay there again.

Location and service were great. Very helpful staff, great location at the foot of the slopes.

I travel 120-130 nights a year. I know a good hotel from a bad one. This is a good one! Most importantly, my room was clean and well maintained. The property has an awesome location! 3 min. walk to gondola and in the heart of all nightlife. Room (loft unit) was much better than I expected. Had a sauna upstairs, jet tub downstairs, and kitchen. Technically it can sleep 6, but it would be crowded with that many people. 4 people should fit comfortably.

Unique loft style of the room; Personal sauna; fireplace; complimentary internet! Having to walk through the hotel lobby in my bathrobe to get to the swimming pool and hot tub. Excellent accommodations. My only complaint is the location of the pool/hot tub. Having a locker room or changing room near the pool would be an improvement.

This hotel is VERY close to the bottom of Whistler/Blackcomb - about a 2 minute walk in ski boots. This is an older hotel that has been taken over by Shell Vacations. It is adequate but not luxurious. The room was comfortable. It had a kitchenette which meant we could avoid eating out for all meals. It is exceedingly close to the slopes and that was really nice. It had a small sauna in the room which was really nice after a day of skiing. The central location also meant that we were close to shops and restaurants. The concierge was quite helpful. The only problem was that the elevator was out of service during the stay so we had to walk the 5 flights of stairs up and down from our room.

"Booked two rooms for a group of 10 people, they upgraded us to their suite for free and it was amazing! A sauna in our own room!"

Location was great. Clean rooms. Helpful friendly staff. It would have been nice to have a balcony off our room.

"our room was small for 2 adults and 3 kids, not what we expected, A/C unit is very very loud and the bed is very, very hard, lots of street noise. trundle bed in kitchen with no sheets."

I quite enjoyed my stay here. Very polite staff. Spacious room with Fireplace made it very romantic - if only I had someone to bring!

"My fiance and I had the pleasure of staying at the Mountainside Lodge earlier this month. We had a fantatic weekend - the bike park was close by (2 minutes just behind the hotel), the staff, incredibly friendly and the room was very spacious. We didn't even have to pay to store our bikes, it's a free service they offer. We'll be sure to stay again!!"
