View of the mountains was nice; room was sufficient, cleanliness--on a scale of 1-10 was a 6-7 due to bath tub had hair on soap dish and side of tub. It was an inconvenience when I realized housekeeping forgot to put shampoo, bath soap and sugar & cream with coffee maker--I had to get dressed to answer the door when they delivered it. I wouldn't necessarily mention this, but it happened twice during my 3-night stay..

The TV was the best I ever had in a motel. Ice machine broke down. This is a motel with a spectacular scenic view. The room was large, clean, well appointed with a huge LCD TV. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this motel. I have eaten in the restaurant, also. It is excellent.

This hotel was easy to find when exiting the Interstate, only about 1/4 mile down the road. It sits on top of a hill and on the side of the hotel we stayed on there was a large sloping lawn with Adironack chairs where we sat and enjoyed a view of gorgeous Tennessee and a cold drink. The room was clean and I am very picky. We got a good nights sleep on the King size bed. We didn't use the pool but went to look at it and we would have gone in but decided we were too tired. The staff treated us well and was helpful with directions to nearby restaurants. It was a good value to us comparing the price to hotels in California. All in all we had a nice stay with a view to remember.

The rooms was comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff was very nice and courteous and it was affordable. Highly recommended if you're looking for something not to pricey, right off the highway yet includes amenities like internet, irons and iron boards, etc that the Holiday Inn usually offers.

Great view. Shower curtain. This is an older style Holiday Inn with a basic room. Great price! Great view, room sits on top of mountain and overlooks the Tennessee Valley. The only downside was the shower curtain, the rings were broken and water leaked on floor.

This hotel is in need of a major update. The AC units in the rooms are to forcefull and loud. The carpet was stained as well as the ceilings. Overall this place is in need of a major re-do but for $59 buck what can I expect?

This hotel had a great view of the Tennessee river valley. It has a great location and the staff is fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the southeastern Tennessee area.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating and we could change our room from a king bed to 2 doubles. I was expecting a 3 star and got 2 stars. The bed was very hard. The bathroom was very small. It is a clean hotel. The staff a very friendly and accommodating, without a charge they will provide you toiletries. The beds, however were hard and the sheets too narrow to cover 2 people in bed.

Staff was courteous. View was gorgeous. Bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean and quiet. It is true that there was no elevator, but a first floor room would be my option if necessary. I would stay again and plan to do so in the near future.

This Holiday Inn was one of the nicest I have used for this chain. The staff was extremely friendly and hepful! The hotel is well appointed. The only drawbacks I experienced were an inefficient shower head and a wait in the dining room at 6:30 am.

Location. Shower. The hotel needs to work on its heater/air conditioners as we could not get our room a stable temperature. Also, the shower was awful. Very little water pressure and the shower head needed cleaned or replaced.

"This hotel is so primitive there is no elevator to the second and third floors in part of it.The service is even more primitive becasuse they wongo out of their way to let anyone know they have no elevator and they refuse to help anyone with their luggage. All the more frightening - they are so incompetent they won't even apologize for the lack of necessities (an elevator is NOT an amenity for the partially disabled) and with no luggage assistance, the situation is unreasonable beyond description to stay there for more than one night - if that.. "

The view from the hotel was beautiful. The room needed updating and was not clean. This hotel was most likely built in the 1970s or 1980s and has not been updated since -- the furnishings and fixtures reflected the time period. The air in the room was stale, the tub was so stained that it appeared grimy, the toilet had not been cleaned (there was mildew in the bowl), the mattress was uncomfortable, and the overall feel of the hotel was more like a place for a clandestine meeting than for an overnight vacation stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, however.

Convenient location and beautiful view of valley. Wireless internet was not working and caused major time loss when I tried to use lobby access port.

Yes, the hotel is older, and yes there is no elevator. We were offered assistance if we needed it to get the luggage upstairs. We were told about the lack of an elevator and the manager appologized. The hotel is well over 30 years old. I stayed here many moons ago. However, the staff is extremely friendly and polite. The rooms are clean and bed was very comfortable. I have stayed at five star hotels in many cities across the globe, and the staff at this hotel work as hard if not harder than many of those hotels. We enjoyed our stay. Both of my little ones slept the whole night through. I would and will stay here again.

The hotel is on the top of the mountain with a fantastic view. The plumbing was very loud when other rooms were using the shower, and the hotel was old and needed some repairs. Some parts of the hotel has been remodeled and were great, others needed work. The view of the valley below is great, and when the leaves are in full change will be unbelievable.

"There is nothing good about this place. The rooms are old and the carpet and furnishing are worn and dirty looking. We heard the plumbing all night, as well as noise from the outside. I would never stay at this place again. "

Excellent Value. A little out of town. Overall an excellent stay.

Location did not change sheets between guests For a three star hotel it is one of the worst hotels I have been in for all my years
