We weren't planning on spending all day in our hotel room, so we didn't need anything fancy. What we did get was a clean room, hot shower, and comfortable bed at a reasonable price. We spend most of our time uptown when we visit Missoula, so the location is absolutely perfect.

The hotel was easily located,quiet, comfortable, clean and the staff very friendly- elevator to the upper floors, rooms were truly non-smoking (without the smell of recent smoking) nice area for breakfast, good variety of foods - great value. Will stay again when traveling that way.

This is a dated property, so if you are looking for frills, look elsewhere. If you like convenience, friendly service, great cookies and great value this is the place! Quiet, close to many great eating places, rides to the U of M games and again Great Cookies.

Room was spotless. Maids were very cheerful and anxious to help. Room was quiet at night. It suprised me with the high level of quality for an ""Economy"" hotel. Bathroom amenitites were really appreciated and the room was great.Will stay here next time we go to Missoula.

Excellent customer service when we checked in. The staff were very friendly and the cookies were a nice touch.Rooms look & smell great with much better ammenities than similarly priced competitors. Great Bed. Elevator and covered parking are appreciated.Will stay here on our next trip through Missoula. We hope to go the new Missoula Art Museum on the next trip also.

This inn is one of the best values around. The housekeeping service is very through & front desk staff is helpful and accomodating. Thank you for a cool and comfy room! After being on the road 14 hours, it certainly was enjoyable!Check out the downtown if you get a chance. Also Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

I was hoping to find a nice place to stay in Missoula, but the rooms were very dirty. It seemed that the towels were replaced and the bed made, but that was it. Dirty carpet, filthy bathroom. I was moved to a second room, which was not much better.

"We had a very nice stay at the Mountain Valley Inn in Missoula. Stayed for three days during our 2,430 mile bicycle trip and they are very accommodating to cyclists. Will stay there again next year."
