During your free time, take advantage of the year-round outdoor swimming pool, three hot tubs, exercise facilities, and children's playground. For guests' convenience, the property offers heated underground parking, ski lockers, a 24-hour front desk, and meeting rooms. Guest units range from one-bedroom units to three-bedroom units. Decor combines fine furnishings with rich fabrics and warm colors. All condos include moss rock fireplace, high-speed Internet access, DVD player, a full gourmet kitchen spacious living room, dining room, cable TV, coffeemaker, voicemail, data port, and a private patio or balcony. A 2% civic assessment will be charged on all sales of tangible personal property (including food & beverage and lodging charges) within the Breckenridge area. This will be charged on the resort fee as well as food and beverage. All guests are responsible for paying the property's daily resort fee of $15 per room upon check-out. This taxable daily resort fee includes parking, internet access, and other services and amenities to enhance your visit.

The Mountain Thunder Lodge is a terrific place to stay for skiiers. It is a short walk to the gondola which accesses several ski mountains. Best of all, one can ski directly to the Lodge at the end of the day. And at the end of the day, the outside hot tubs were fantastic. Service was terrific. The staff was always very courteous and diligent. Their vans will shuttle you anywhere in town, so conveniently. I normally don't tip at hotels but left a generous tip for the cleaning person because our condo was always so well attended to. When we ski again at Breckenridge, we will definitely stay there. It is first-class!

This was a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and accomadating. They even shutteled us around and helped us by keeping our luggageand giving us a place to change after we skiied the day we checked out. The room was very large, nice fireplace and kitchenette. The bed was very hard but other than that we loved it!

MTL is your standard 2br/2ba townhome with a 1 car garage in building 200...with granite counters, stainless appliances, tile etc. No extras like plastic wrap, foil, herbs and spices if you plan to cook. But hey, it was a great place in a great location and for what we paid, well worth it. It backs up to a trail so ski-in is possible but ski out is not unless there's plenty of snow and you can get to the gondola down the road a short traverse. We were there in the summer so this was less a concern than having a really nice place to stay and since we were driving all over the place anyway, staying slopeside with true ski in/ski out accommodations was not a high priority.

The Mountain Thunder Lodge was a perfect place to stay. It was our first time to Breckenridge so we didn't know what to expect. The Lodge was so convenient to the town. We walked there several times a day to shop and eat etc. The town is so cute. We stayed in a two bedroom, two bathroom suite. Also, a kitchen, dining room, living room area. The bathrooms were spacious. We had a nice porch overlooking the town and the mountains in the background. The dishwasher was broken and the repairmen came right away but they couldn't fix it for us. That was no problem because we hardly ate in the room. We found some pretty good restaurants in town. The only complaint I have is our check in. We were given a choice of a couple units. It turned out that the one we picked was not clean yet so we were told it would be an hour and suggested we go into town and explore the area and they would call us when it was ready. That hour turned out to be three and a half hours. We would have gone with the other room if we had known it would take that long. It was a wasted day. We just hung around waiting for the call. Other then that it was a nice short vacation.

This was a good experience. The only slight problem we had was that it was a bit close to a major road and with windows open, it was a bit load at night. Also could hear other guests. It was very convenient and we could go walk to restaurants and shops without ever using the car to go about in town.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mountain Thunder Lodge. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. We even had the same person check us in as when we stayed last summer. The entire property is really beautiful. We have stayed in 3 different condos so far, and all of them are very nice. Spacious, elegant and always clean. The views of the mountain from our balcony were breathtaking. It was very convenient to walk into town and rent bikes as well. Our children love the pool and the playground area as well. We will definitely go back soon!

Mountain Thunder Lodge is a beautiful retreat located in walking distance to downtown Breckenridge. We were impressed with the full kitchen and spacious layout of the suite. Neat parking garage allows access to rooms directly instead of having to go thru the lobby. Definatly will return!!
